50>60hz is more than 10% described in the min/max bias. Maybe this is the reason? Just a mindfart.

If it only happened with MPAR I'd think that might be the reason, but it's always happened even before MPAR so it must be something else.

MPAR cannot be used on live tv if the refresh rate is not exact match with the presentation device (50/75/100 are ok for PAL). Why? It is not possible to renderer any audio / video faster than the broadcaster is sending those.

Actually, I think I did guess that myself and only used MPAR for video. I'm actually not using MPAR for anything at the moment, as I removed it and the associated mods to try and debug the problem with live tv. When I send the HTPC to my brother, his TV can do 50hz and 60hz, so I might re-enable it then and I've got a little TV I can test it on once I've finished configuring everything else.

Mind you, PD seems to using MPAR with his 60hz TV to play 50hz live tv without any problems o_O

After playing a movie stored on HD, I have no sound when directly starting live TV. The live TV uses very long time before it starts playing. Hope you find anything usefull in the attached logs.

    Thanks!

I would assume that you are using some other than native Blu-ray test buildof MediaPortal. If that is the case then please enabled ReleaseDeviceOnStop == 1 in registry. This will workaround in resource cleanup bug all the earlier MP versions have. As WASAPI renderer is using the device in exclusive mode (unless disabled in registry which I dont recommend since ít will allow OS mixer to resample the audio) it is not possible tohave multiple renderers working at the same time and the resource cleanup bug is causing directshow graphs to be left active after they are already discarded.

No one is able to bend the physical laws (time in this case). PD needs to have a time machine around if he really is able to use MPAR + timestretching with live tv on 60Hz display. Why? After 1 hour of real time the MPAR would have required already that the broadcaster would have sent 60/50 * 1 hour amount audio and video data. Quite impossible? :)

You are right. I´m sorry I missed that one. Was so eager to start testing. Works fine now.

Where can I find the "Property pages"? Is this only in graphstudio?

Tourettes:remember my Asus Xonar? I tried few minutes ago to switch to new v2 . But with bad result.
Back to last July version I have since a long time with no problem. Do you change a lot from that version?
there are not ChannelMaskOverride_5_1 entries anymore?

A lot - the whole processing chain is changed.

Not required anymore as the renderer will test few known speaker configurations. So, what are the bad results? Did it burn your house to ground or just play Backstreat Boy's Createst Hits album in non-stop mode? A bit more info would be useful (and a log too).

Had already disabled timestretch setting at this point following tourettes instructions, the fact my tv plays content without glitches, does not seem related to MPAR anyway
