Now have audiorenderer in graph, new log and screen shot playing recorded tv.

Log looks clean. Unfortunately I have no clue what could be hogging the CPU - unless you have some low end CPU. One thing you could disable is EnableTimestretching.

x4200+ cpu, old I know, but even without gpu acceleration easily capable of HD playback, will check the timestretch, wondering if its the fact I'm pumping out 50hz stuff to a 60hz display, can never get flat lines with shif+!, if i change to 50hz display, then audio shuts down over hdmi, shitty old lcd tv me thinks ;)

Out of curiosity. What does timestretching do? Why could it have an effect on the cpu?
And does it mean without the timestretching feature, MP renderer is not as effective, or is it still functional as it should?
    Thanks

    Property page looks good :)

I don't think MPAR will be suitable for this system I'm building though, as I want it to be able to either

    a) mix-down (if necessary) all content to stereo, then duplicate this stereo over two outputs (to TV and stereo amp) so that if the content deserves it, the amp can be switched on and the TV muted.

    b) mix-down 5.1/7.1 to quad, with the TV receiving only the centre channel (duplicated to both speakers) and the stereo amp receiving the rest

I can do this at the moment with ffdshow and ARC to switch between the profiles. It may be that the end-user would be happy with a simpler system that only offers a) if it means he can use MPAR though but I don't think that's possible at the moment either is it?

My TV only does 60hz as well and I thought this might be why I get regular sound cutouts when watching Freeview TV (whether using MPAR or not), which is a 50hz format. Do you get these too?

I don't think I've noticed them when watching videos, but most of those are probably 30/60hz anyway.

50>60hz is more than 10% described in the min/max bias. Maybe this is the reason? Just a mindfart.

Cannot notice any difference between watching tv via the tv's dvb-t tuner and the pc's (better picture on pc), audio is always in sync and no dropouts.

tourettes, I'm most probably not the best candidate to do any testing, unless you think otherwise, can only make sure nothing gets broken thats about all :(

If it only happened with MPAR I'd think that might be the reason, but it's always happened even before MPAR so it must be something else.

Thanks, at least I know this shouldn't be happening now and it's not due to the 50hz->60hz factor.
