• Create registry keys when the filter is registered
• Property pages to allow configuring the settings with more ease

Note: you need to re-register the mpaudiorenderer.ax to be able to access the filter property page.

Running version version 2 and intial release get high cpu use (50-60%) with npaudiorenderer, using lav filters exclusively with cuvid enabled,

This is playing ts live\recordings or h264 files, cpu normally around the 3-10% mark depending on what is being played with normal default directsound device.

Have I got something set wrong

Please post the audio rendererer log. You might have enabled some high quality resampling mode Just to be sure that DS audio renderer wont show the same high CPU usage with same DS filters in graph?

This is even weirder now, looks like its not even putting the audiorenderer into the graph, just directsound.

Looks like my setup is not wasapi friendly, logs attached.

Forgot to mention, I'm using the M$ driver for hdmi audio, not the nvida hd audio driver, would that make a difference.

Make sure that you have enabled the exclusive mode under sound settings in the control panel for the specific device (sorry, don't have any English localized Windows 7 here so I cannot check the exact place).

Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Sound -> Then select the device -> Properties -> Tab Advanced -> bottom checkbox 'Give exclusive mode applications priority'

(In case anybody else runs into this issue)

Now have audiorenderer in graph, new log and screen shot playing recorded tv.
