I have a Aopen XC Cube av II which included a winfast tv 2000 xp expert tv card.
This tv card is properly installed in Windows XP Pro and is working in the accompanying Intervideo Home theater software.

Yesterday I installed the latest version of Mediaportal and all is working except the TV and Radio. When I start MP it's says no TV card installed. The winfast tv 2000 xp expert is one of the videocards that is supposed to be supported. Already updated the driver to it's latest version

Do I need to do some additional installation or so ?

if I can humour you with that :

As you can see, also this detection tool does not recognise the card. This while she's working via Intervideo and status in XP is ok

You are not trying very hard to be helpful are you?

We need more information - what about this piece :-

Post your MediaPortal.log file information (Please use http://mp.pastebin.com and then post the link in your forum thread)

that was listed in the link I directed you to.... :?

There is nothing useful in the .log file you posted.

Have you run MediaPortal Configuration and configured your TV card?
Have you run Autotune to get all the TV channels, and assigned them to your TV card?
What name does MP Configuration identify your TV card as?
Do you get any error messages when you run MP Configuration?

Please provide as much information as possible about what you have already tried, and what the outcomes are - clearly there is something wrong with your setup, and it is very difficult to determine what that is with the sketchy information that you have provided so far... :?

I have a pc with a working TV card. This TV card works both in Linux and in XP. In XP I use the Intervieo Home Theater software that came with the card.

So technically there is nothing wrong with the setup

As I prefer Mediaportal software I installed it and ran the configuration software.

The problem is that mediaportal tells me there is NO CARD INSTALLED.

Hence I cannot search channels etc
