Is MP2.0 going to use the same technology as WMP/PowerDVD etc?

Anyway... I'll raise a bug report for the hard stop on resize... the "watched" status and "resume from last point" for recorded video appear to be broken by this kludge.

Wont help as that bug has been decided to left unfixed:

    1) MP is a HTPC application and 99% of the users are running it always in fullscreen, so the bug affects only a minority of users.

    2) Fixing the bug would require huge changes in MP.

Oh, well screw those guys then.

I take the point about fixing the "resize crash" requiring major changes but I definately think it should remember where the player was up to. I can't see that this would take too much code.

i cant see why it cant just turn the tv on automatically after the resizing is done - it must know when all the resizing has been done, rather than having to go the menu manually and click on the tv button to turn it on?
