We have to change some code and release a new mediaportal for that...
Are you willing to do some experimentation on this issue? As always I'm curious on what causes this error...

This can only be done by modifying the source code.

Are you putting your pc in sleepmode with MP running by any chance?

No. I specifically don't allow my client machines to go to sleep.

Now that I'm looking at all of my client logs I notice that not all of them display the 698 message but they all display the 'cannot access disposed object' message.

Is there a file I need to look at to see if there is a difference between clients? (on the 698 message, I mean).

If you look in the folder "\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\", there should be another folder called "Language" that contains all of the language files for the different supported languages.

For a few languages there is a primary file that contains most string constants, plus one or more secondary files that contain string constants for language variants; English is like this. So for the UK, MP uses both of the following files:
    • "strings_en.xml"
    • "strings_en-GB.xml"
Finally, it is possible for a skin to have a language file of its own, so you may see a log entry related to that (stating either that the file is being used, or that the file was not found).

    Hi CyberSimian

I have a central configuration and copying the local strings_en.xml file to the central configuration fixed that problem. Thank you.

    Can you try this one?
    Error should be fixed there...
