Is there any such thing as a TMediaPortalPlugin class for Delphi available already? ...

    I already tried to build MP with Delphi 2005 (Delphi 7 doesn't include .NET support) but ended up with access violations and stuff and therefore gave up after some extend..

    Hi,

    you could try c#, it was designed by the head designer of delphi.

    I admit It takes some time to get used to it. but is it not so hard to make the switch if you are familiar with delphi.

    If you are a delphi programmer that hardly uses the IDE you will have to get used to some C# way's, but the switch is not that hard.
