I still have problems with recordings i cut inside ProjectX.
When i play this files it starts and runs until the first cut. Then it stops. If you jump over the cut (by +15 sec, +30sec etc.) it plays fine. I have uploaded a file some days ago to ftp.team-mediaportal.com the filename is ProjectX_cut.ts
I use Cyberlink codecs.

Correct. As soon as LiveTV is stopped, all *.tsbuffer files are supposed to get deleted.
Are you able to reproduce the issue and provide logs?

Even in the singleseat tsbuffers are left. (Luckily overwritten at the next start - if not in multiseat).

What happens when you play that file inside VLC, Windows MediaPlayer, or MediaPlayer Classic HC?

What happens when you rename the file from *.ts to *.mkv and play that one in MyVideos?

Am I missing some settings in configuration?
As for me, tsbuffer remains after I stop Live TV. Not the whole fileset - just .tsbuffer and the last .ts used (real size).
But in singleseat case it is reused (or deleted and created with the same name ?) with the next Live TV start.
If in multiseat - new "incremented" filenames are generated (_remaining_ after stop as well) -> filling tsbuffer folder.

So what you are trying to tell us is that there are "leftovers" of previous *.tsbuffer files inside your Timeshift folder?

Well, if they are not reserved intentionaly by design - let's call them "leftovers".

EDIT: Noted recent post with mantis addition 0002621.
I'm still unsure about log collector error though... The error occurs during the 'Gathering system eventlog information' phase. A slightly more detailed screenshot of the error has replaced the original in this post.

But could you press the "details" button in this error dialog window you posted a screenshot from and copy/past the error details?

I'm having big troube with ( i guess) the new tsreader. I'm not watching a lot of tv so i didn't really notice it on my htpc at first.
A few days ago i installed the christmas svn on my parents in law htpc as they were having big issues with mp and after installing i noticed that channel change became much slower and that sometimes channel change took longer than 30 secs and i had to stop the process.

Today i installed the new svn on my htpc (which is nearly the same as the one my parents in law have) and now i'm experiencing the same problems.
When switching tv on for the first time speed is ok, but after some channel changes speed really goes down. Back in the days ;-) mp needed 2, at most 3 sec to do a channel change and now it somtimes takes A MINUTE
i suspect that switching to hdtv makes it even worse.
After i click on the new channel pictures freezes and after a few seconds the old stream continues to play, then (sometimes) picture freezes and audio from the new channel continues - then a few seconds later picture and audio are working fine.

I have to say that i'm using ForTheRecord, so that could be the cause, but i highly doubt it. If i use FTRs own managment console and check live tv (they use VLC for that) it takes ~ 4-5 secs from an idle system to an opened vlc playing the stream.

I can not confirm that issue. Please attach TvServer logs and tell us which codecs you use.

I can not confirm that issue. Please attach TvServer logs and tell us which codecs you use.

TsReader.log shows pretty long (30 second was longest I could quickly spot) A/V compensation values. That is not right. I'll forward the post to Ambass.

I may be wrong, but I thought the refresh change stuttering problem on Windows 7 was fixed, but it still happens to me (when switching from 60hz to 24 hz in full screen mode on Windows 7).

What happens when you rename the file from *.ts to *.mkv and play that one in MyVideos?

The file plays well in VLC and WMP in VLC there is short stuttering at the cut, in WMP it plays smoothly.
If i just rename the file to .mkv i just see the first picture of the file in MP. If i can provide any additional information plz let me know.
