I get sometimes the message - this channel is not assigned to any card (translated from german). I do not have this issue in the last svn.

Have seen that happen a couple of times recently. Restarting the TVService seemed to fix it. Not sure why it's happening though.

    This happens if you change anything on your tv cards (like slot, installed drivers, etc).
    Make sure ALL (including the "new", changed one) cards are still mapped to their channels.

    I recieved a message stating " switching to reference rasteriser"whilst starting this svn and MP then crashed when I tried to close the MP window.
    Same problem here, first run after a reboot is fine. However, when restarting MP, the "switching to reference rasteriser" error shows up. I can reproduce this after each reboot.

    i've nothing changed no card - no driver. And all mappings are fine in the config panel.

    But i've the same bug again like in the last SVN reported by me and binary64 - but nobody seems to care :-(

    So here again:
    See the end of this message for details on invoking
    just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

    ************** JIT Debugging **************
    To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
    application or computer (machine.config) must have the
    jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
    The application must also be compiled with debugging
    enabled.

    For example:

    <configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
    </configuration>

    When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
    will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
    rather than be handled by this dialog box.

    Excellent - would be nice if you could do some testing.
    Basically nothing changed which could "break" the DX rendering, however I've added a little line which avoids timing related rendering issues.

    Please try the attached files - if the first doesn't work, try the second. Report back if any of these "fixes" that issue.

    Okay, so virtually nothing has been changed which could introduce that from our side.
    Have there been any Vista updates recently? Could you try to reproduce with last week's SVN? (Of course not using an old image as I suspect any recent system change to cause this).
