Splash screen shows 1.0.0.0 RC1

Not a big deal but.... With both RC2 and this SVN on my system the MP splash screen shows RC1 not RC2...

Hi Guys,

i got an error, when i tried to start my TVServer.

The service manager says TVServer is started, when i open the TVServer configuration, a popup comes up and ask me to start the TVServer as service

Ok, i said yes of course i want

And then my configuration window opened, but nothing was in there....

Logs attached..

Got the same issue here with both types of installation (add/remove components & complete uninstall before). Even a database new created shows this error. As it seems to work for other users, maybe it is something just related to MSSQL?

I can confirm that DB bug tester2k7 mentioned ... and that annoying pop-up I also used the installer.

edit: I use MySQL - so it's probably not related to DB type.

It shows RC2 here. Actually, RC2 has been showed since last RC1-SVN

I can confirm, mine also shows RC2.....no problem

This IS a big deal because your installation is messed up.
Please remove MP and Tv-Server from control pannel, check for any leftovers with a find "*MediaPortal*".
Then reboot and install again.

My Vista (Business) is an English version, so I would doubt this. Nevertheless, sometimes applications use other sources to determine which language should be used - although I don't know which, my guess is they sometimes look at time-zone settings or keyboard layout settings.

Same problem here. I also did both types of installation, even did reboots in between
