TV Service crash

With Alpha 1.1, all seems ok.

However, after applying this svn the TV service seems to crash a lot, particularly when watching recorded tv (?)
I have a seperated client/server setup, with 2 clients and one dedicated TV server - all running Windows 7
No logs are generated within MP, just the event log on the TV server says APPCRASH TV Service. I've set it to autorestart, which it does. But it does crash very frequently.

Any clues? Any logs that you think might be useful? Ever seen this before?
As I say, vanilla Alpha 1.1 doesn't do it.

If you using multiseat, install tvserver pakage from SVN on client.

nope it singleseat.
check in mp config plugins existance of tv plugin (it must be enabled)

Live tv is crashing alot

Hi,
Running svn 23407 in a single server-client installation on win7 RTM and after (often) 1 or a couple of live TV switching’s the mediaportal is crashing. Even when testing between FTA channels.
I did a complete reinstall of the windows and so on, result= same
Log attached.

I'm struggling to stop recordings - tried last night:
Start recording by clicking 'record now' -> current program = working recording
Stop recording by clicking 'stop recording' = nothing, recording doesn't stop
The GF missed a Poirot 'cos of this - my life is over

Hi SpudR,

Yeap I have the same problem... there is a workaround I found somewhere on the forum. Tune to the channel that is being recorded and press the "recording" button on the remote control (I have a MCE R/C) and it seems that this is stopping the recording for good

Hope that bug can take some attention

I found that too - now I have to restart MP to enable recording again
Here's hoping for a fix too...
