Hey, has the Powersheduler Client plugin problem been fixed in this SVN, so that only Mediaportal Client can put the PC into standby after inactivity when its running, rather than TV scheduler? This means that if Mediaportal is not running, standby will not occur unless I press the standby button. No one seems to be acknowledging this problem, so I wanted to see if its been fixed, been encountered by others, or simply being ignored.

    1. Miniguide doesnt show user defined tv channel group name, only hadcoded all channels and digital sat group (in BlackGlass all ok)
    2. Sliding string in miniguide slide note smooth and jump beck for some pixels often (in BlackGlass same result)
3 When i use skip steps B3W OSD doesn show me jump time (in BlackGlass same result)
Reinstall with complete cleanup didnt help.

+1 In singleseat installation, tvserver should not put client to sleep when MP is not running, unless tvserver woke the client for a scheduled recording.

It is working currently as designed. MediaPortal is a HTPC application, so ideally it is always running on your HTPC. Remember that MP is just not a mediaplayer that is running sometimes :)

Currently there is no changed planned in this functionality / behavior. If you want to be able to close MP and still be working with the HTPC then you can add some 3rd party process (notepad.exe for example) in the powerscheduler's process list and open notepad to disallow the sleep.

    some issues

Hi, I'm new here and I tested the current svn.
So at first, I would thnx our developers for the very good work of supporting us.

Currently I've some trouble with the current svn:

    1. When I newly start the computer and then MP, all is normal and works.
    2. When MP go to sleep with PS-Plugin and later I start it again, there is no audio
when I start movies. Only a restart of computer brings audio back.

Has anyone an issue on this?
When it is needed, I can attach some logs on this.

Could be a driver issue with the audio card/chip. Please try if other applications than MediaPortal have audio after resuming from sleep. Also ty if restarting MP helps.

    Thnx for your fast reply.

I don't think it is a driver problem, because some additional infos. The MP sounds (ex. for remote control) you can hear.
Another issue, when I turn TV on, the sound of TV is there.
Only the Movies in the Movie section are without sound.

And restart of MP doesn't resolv the audio problem. Only whole restart of the computer.

Three issues with the feature "show episode info"

If you use the feature "Show episode info" in TV configuration, I face three issues:

    1) There are three options "Number", "Title" and "Number+Title". To show the episode name in the EPG you have to select option three. If you just select "Title" the episode title is not shown.

    2) In the recording view episodes with the same title should be grouped in a folder. When using the feature "Show episode info" the folder is visible but no recording is in.

    3) The grouping folder for episodes includes the episode name of the last recording. It should show only the title of the series.

Please have a look at this thread, because the issues were partly solved a few weeks ago.

Make sure that both tv and movies are using the same audio renderer in MP's config.

Yes, they have. I will do some further tests this evening. (Probably audio is on the digital output instead on HDMI output, I'll check it)
But configured it is right. When not, a whole restart of PC wouldn't bring back audio on movies.
