I am getting a crash after a few minutes when I play music.
Most of my music is wma. Never had this before the SVN of this weekend.
I have addes the logs.

will somebody look into this or should I post it somewhere else ?

Nothing has been changed regarding that. So try the backup of your older installation first - it should happen there as well.

I have a sky freesatfromsky card in a TREX cam.

All worked in RC3 OK, any reason why it would stop working now? Other encrypted channels are still working OK, channel 4 HD is broadcast on DVB-S2 if that helps and other channels such as BBC HD are working OK (not encrypted).

It does help thanks... what I want now is an easy to follow guide to getting Sky (uk) through my PC. The guide in AV forums has wellover 100 pages and sorry not reading all that!!! Is there a short guide anyone knows and what is the cheapest method???

Is it related to AC3 audio choice ?, could you try selecting MPEG audio ?

i'm not able to watch live-TV or view any recordings - it seems to be related to the changed in playerfactory.cs ... the funny thing... no Messages in log.

Try following the guides on here: KustomPCs - HTPC, Gaming, CarPC, Cooling and Modding Products in the UK !

Follow the Sky intergration on MCE for the parts and then read the MediaPortal satellite guide (written by me) for RC2. Should help get the things moving for you.

Hi Ambass, I've tried disabling the "Prefer AC3 audio" hasn't made any difference.

**Update** changed the audio decoder from the AC3 filter to the MPA decoder (or FFdshow) and its all works with MPEG audio but not with AC3 audio. Problem is the MPEG audio is narrated.
