Is anyone else having this issue..?

New install of 1.1 beta followed by this latest SVN. Then installed Moving Pictures 0.75 and the latest TV Series plugin. Installed SAF latest version.

Selected a mkv file to play which when using MP 1.02 would set the refresh rate of the TV to 24hz and then back to 50hz after - all was good.

With this SVN it will show (via the popup informing me of the refresh rate) that it has set it to 24hz (the TV though shows me it is at 25hz) and then back to 50hz (my default setting) when I press stop, the TV confirms 50hz.

The relevant part of the logs...

    2009-10-28 22:24:08.131200 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.AdaptRefreshRate: framerate on file D:\Media files\Films\test.mkv is 23.976
    2009-10-28 22:24:08.138200 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.SetRefreshRateBasedOnFPS: current refreshrate is 50hz - changing it to 24hz
    2009-10-28 22:24:08.140200 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.SetRefreshRateBasedOnFPS: using internal win32 method for changing refreshrate. current is 50hz, desired is 24
2009-10-28 22:24:08.929200 [Debug][MPMain]: CycleRefreshRate: successfully changed refresh rate to (24hz)

I then stopped the film from playing.....

    2009-10-28 22:24:35.777200 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.SetRefreshRateBasedOnFPS: current refreshrate is 25hz - changing it to 50hz
    2009-10-28 22:24:35.780200 [Info.][MPMain]: RefreshRateChanger.SetRefreshRateBasedOnFPS: using internal win32 method for changing refreshrate. current is 25hz, desired is 50
2009-10-28 22:24:36.456200 [Debug][MPMain]: CycleRefreshRate: successfully changed refresh rate to (50hz)

Even though the popup window confirms the switch to 24hz the TV confirms it is at 25hz and so do the logs.

Each and every 24hz film which worked fine with 1.02 and 12Noon (the TV was set to 24hz and then back to 50hz) is set to 25hz but the popup states 24hz.

I appreciate that. However that refered to the 1.02 version of MP.

I did read a post by a developer of MP gemx...

    https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/519207-post835.html

to state that it was fixed in build 23745.

That is why I tried this SVN. Previous to this it would not change at all. Now it does change each and every time it is just changing to 25hz and not 24hz.

What I did fail to notice was the last comment by infinityloop to report the same problem as me, in the link that you had included.

    Hi,

    Change in SVN 23978:

Fixed mantis #0002510: Changing channel using numbers shows "pause" OSD for 1 sec and then TvZap OSD

    - Removed redundant OSD update
    - Re-enabled TvZapOsd controls

Did you somehow work around this problem in purevisionHD? In B3(W) the pause OSD and zap OSD were both showing. The same problem is present in other skins, and Chemelli's change fixes this. It may be that changes to purevisionHD are needed now.

    Best wishes,

    Mark
