I never had the problem because *I don´t use excessive animations*. This problem is caused by using animations when displaying OSDs. So the easiest way to fix it is disable the animations for displaying OSDs.
And regarding this change of Simone: what do I have to do to change that behaviour? Are there other IDs or something?

Curently I don't understand why it's not working for you anymore...as I just removed one call to UpdateOSD() to avoid be doubled in the number jump.

Can you test your system with Blue3Wide please ?

MP hangs on channel change

In this SVN MP still hangs, it is a little better than previous SVN but for me it is not working. MP does not hang while stopping live TV or movies but it hangs on channel change as in the attached logs (mediaportal.bak-file).

Will try some more.

problem with Freeview radio

I'm seeing problems recording Freeview radio with this (and the previous SVN). TVserver starts the recording, waits 15sec for the 1st 250k chunk then aborts the recording with a "card: WaitForRecordingFile - video was found, but audio was not found after 15.046875 seconds" error. It then deletes the entire folder, waits a while then tries again - and repeatedly fails again for the duration of the recording.

I've checked the chunk it does manage to write and its a valid audio only file. It also fails to create the matching .xml file - not yet sure if it's failing to create it at all or just failing to recreate it after deletion.

This is an intermittent problem and so far I can't see a pattern. Right now I'm seeing a failure with a tuner simultaneously recording TV from the same mux, so the tuner seems to be OK.

Look for 'Creme de la Crime' for the failed BBC7 recording.

I feel very sad for comment, that since the beta version and all SVN versions my MP is not working well.

With this SVN:

Live HD TV don't work (plugin CoreAVC)
Scan Satellite channels don't work (Astra 19,2º E)
Power Schedule Plugin don't work (My system don't wake up for schedule TV recording)
Channel change too slow
MP Hangs continuosly.
TV Recordings has "Unknow" name.

I only have a PC for testing and it's my main system for watching and recording TV programs, I can not continue to test this Beta version having so many failures.

I'm going back to the Alpha version...

I also have a lot of "Unknown.ts" and "Unknown.xml" files in my recordings...browsing them in "My Recordings" they look ok, but they some of them use the wrong screenshots. Wife is kind of confused

The unkonwn file names appear to be because a mask is not set as default. Going into the config app and setting the series and movies masks for filenames seems to sort this. The wrong pics are confusing as they have the same name as the ts file that is scanned to create the pics....

What thread? If you are pointing to the previous SVN thread then I assume that the logs are invalid as they have been created with the old SVn version.

Also log should be posted in a thread that is used to discuss the issue. I personally at least wont help any user who is lazy enough to skip such step. Thanks for understanding as I have enough things to do even without hunting down the logs.

A few problems with Blue3wide skin and episode info

The following problems with the default skin found with TV Client/Guide/Show channel state in Mini Guide (on supp. skins))/Show episode info: set to Number + Title

1. Recorded TV is missing the scrolling effect and therefore the text from title+sub-title+recorded number rolls over on the date.

2. Date/time/length font seems to be smaller then the title (shouldn't it be same?)

3. With the episode number plus title the series folder is labeled incorrectly (should be just "Supernatural" and "The Simpsons" in my example). An attempt to open the series folder shows nothing inside. I can only see the folder contents when I disable to show the episode number plus title.

4. There is plenty of space on the appropriate the MP configuration window to show full text "On supported skins", no need to abbreviate to "supp.". Plus there is one extra closing bracket.
