PS plugin and DVD change resolution issue

Hi! I have noticed that saving the powerscheduler plugin, from MP 1.1 beta, and put them in a safe place and then replace
the PS Plugin from svn, with the saved ones are solving the powerscheduleproblem dont no why, but it works

Please open a bug report with as much information as possible so the issues can be fixed.

• Use case(s) where power scheduler doesn't work anymore
• Specific versions of the power scheduler DLLs that were used for testing (try to narrow as close as possible to a SVN release that did introduce the bug)

Hi! I have done some (a lot of testes) regarding where the PS and DVD resolution first appear. Tested with Vista and Windows 7. conclusion: The last fully funktional svn is for me 09-26-09 23684. after that i'ts broken I use MP original codecs exept for
.mkv where i use coreavc. Hope this can be helpfull for someone with this 2 problems

there was one change in powerscheduler. we are currently investigating this... thanks for pointing to the last working version...

Thanks for uploading the power scheduler files - but I don't have these already, which seems odd... I have PowerScheduler.Interfaces.dll rather than the two uploaded.

check the plugins directory, search in explorer is another way to find the location

check post 44 in this thread if you still can't find them

hallo everyone out there that have tried to help me with my problem with channel changing on client.
I have manage to solve the problem, it turned out to be my router, I changed that and now everything is working.

Can someone explaine to me how that can be?
Both the server and the client was on the "inside" of the router and still it was the router.

Hi Devs,

Every now and then i get a message: you are not entitled to watch this channel.
If it happens its always the first time i tune to a pay channel after the server is woken up from a sleep state.

I'm currently not sure but it looks like the sleep period has to be over 2 hours to get this message. Perhaps some condensators on the firewire card are loosing their current after this time.

I have logging of the server and of the client attached.
The logging is not completely clean, as it is hard to predict when this is going to happen, but the error occured on 7 november around 16:36

I guess a reinit of the card and the cam are necessary to avoid this problem. Or a initial tune to a paychannel after returning from a sleep state (but that would just be a ugly way to do it )

hope anyone can look into this problem

After some more testing it seems to be a structural thing, if pc is returning from sleep state after at least 1 to 2 hour of sleeptime, then i have this problem.

I'm not sure since which build this is, it might also be a general bug.

Any help would be great

Hi,

I'm using the 11-06-2009 svn, and when using FFDShow audio decoder(rev 3124 and others), rewind does not function properly when decoding an mkv file.

I am using passthrough bitstreaming of dts or ac3 direct to the receiver. As soon as I hit rewind, it stops playing and returns to the previous menu screen. This is on win7 ultimate x64. I have tested this with other audio decoders, and it does not have this issue (though I do not get bitstreamed audio over hdmi). I have also tried different video decoders, but the problem only seems to happen when FFDShow is handling the audio.

I also use FFDShow for DVD audio, and even with 5.1 ac3 audio being bitstreamed, it rewinds properly while playing back a dvd.

Anyone know why I am getting this failure? (see attached pictures)
Dont know causes this, but it was after configuring all my personal settings inside MP configuration. All seems to work, but not the volume control when I am inside MP.
I tried to move back to a clean windows 7 x 64 and reinstall 1.1beta and this svn. But the same happened again...

ooops. in my previous post I mentioned, the MCE remote doesn't work. It works, but the mapping is strange, the keys we were probing are up,down, left, right and ok (default movement when you start up MP) and those keys are not mapped. In the mapping XML file, they are commented out and it's mentioned, they are disabled this way, cause the OS is handling them. Well on Win7 this way you won't get any action with these keys in MP. I uncommented them and mapped them to proper actions in MP config. All working now.

Does anyone know how I should change the mappings. This is the only issue I have right now as well with the new SVN.

I also noticed when I press the pause button in MP TVSeries that the pause screen no longer shows times or synopsis. It does pause full frame. Is this related to the pause key action or MP TVSeries?

Using Windows 7 64bit N

N = European version without media player software by default.

Have you changed any mappings, is your MediaPortal install using defaults?

Try pressing SpaceBar on the keyboard, does everything appear then? Is it only in TVSeries or all plugins?
