Sorry for noob question but I'm new to testing these snapshots. Can I install this snapshot over the previous one? Or do I need to uninstall the previous snapshot, then install this one?

You can install over previous one.
Provided that both are for same MP version (example 1.1.0 beta1).

I'm having big problems with HD channels, which locks up, doesn't change to properly and gets out of sync quickly. Attached is log files.

EDIT: I went back to the TsReader.ax from 23831, and with that version HD works fine.

The XmlTv plugin also seems to be no longer working correctly. I get a lot of the following entries in the tv.log:

I have an error when using skins (tried X Factor and Streamed MP)

Error occured while loading the plugin
MediaPortal.GUI.Video.GUIVideoFullscreen

It's incompatible with the current MediaPortal version and won't be loaded.

This means that skip forward and back don't work... A real shame as the rest of the application is working flawlessly for me.

Just tried switching to BlueWide and got the same problem

Did you do a force update?

I noticed this in last SVN that force via setup seems to do this but normal imports are fine?

I have a problem: while watching a video, not showing the status of "skip steps" in the OSD, but it shows the pause state.
It began with Revison 24047, if not mistaken.
System: Windows XP, language settings: russian.

Mantis 2401 - Refreshrate Change

Seems like the Refreshrate change in W7-32bit with NVIDIA card and newest WHQL 195 driver is still not working properly.

When enabled it changes to 24p (as confirmed by TV status display) but playback gets choppy.
No delays in the sound and all other refresh rates are working.


Used code: CoreAVC 1.9.5 & PowerDVD 8 (both with and w/o CUDA enabled)

Error log did not have any errors highlighted.

Disabling the automatic refresh change and manually change in NVIDIA settings to 24p will result in a smooth playback.

Can anybody confirm this observation? (or declares that it is working for him?)

Trying to use 12noon as batch file in the RR activity field is generating the same results with a stuttering playback for 24p

Same here, using Vista 32, PowerDVD 9 (both mpeg and h264).. and AC3Filter for all audio
(as I've been using without issues for ages) SD and 'non-tv'-video is no problem at all,
HD-tv maybe shows 3 frames, then video freezes... audio continues.
TV Off/On, restart of services etc etc doesn't matter..
Reverted back to 'old' TsReader.ax and playback on all channels is smooth..

I'll try to post the logs, but GF is watching.. you know how that works

yeep, with older tsreader SVN 10.10.2009 OK
