    Thanks devs.

    Looking better all the time.

Now HD Homerun in DVB-C mode is correctly detected. Also scans fine.
From logs listed as detected "using old detection method" but I have no idea if that might be a problem later on but its there and appearantly working just fine.

Tested on WIndows 7 x86, will test on x64 asap as well and report results.

    Great work as always.

Sadly HD Homerun (running DVB-C) still has problems being properly detected and initiated on WIndows 7 x64.

Still detected and working with a clean beta of MP 1.1.0 as previously reported.

As soon as this latest svn 24281 is added it either shows up partially as unknown or isnt shown in config GUI at all.

The detection part of the tv.log looks like this:
Card is appearantly detected at first but afterwards disappears.

Hope this is sufficient to help getting the HD HOmerun working on Win 7 x64 as well.
Otherwise please advise on what further actions or logs is needed.

Nice release; appear to have an old problem back though.

    I'm running multiseat - Standalone Server, Client1, Client2.

Start Live TV on Client1 (seems slugish compared to previous SVN, but works)

Go to Client2, and start Live TV on the back of the same stream that's going to Client 1 - (works fine)

Shutdown Client1. => Client2 freezes and is unresponsive - poweroff needed.

Can provide logs if someone tells me which ones would be usefull?!

    Thanks.

    7.77: display works, no remote
    7.78: remote works, no display

    logs attached (7.78 imon manager)

    edit: 7.60 works fine

Seems like the Refreshrate change in W7-32bit with NVIDIA card and newest WHQL 195 driver is still not working properly.

When enabled it changes to 24p (as confirmed by TV status display) but playback gets choppy.
No delays in the sound and all other refresh rates are working.

Used code: CoreAVC 1.9.5 & PowerDVD 8 (both with and w/o CUDA enabled)

Error log did not have any errors highlighted.

Disabling the automatic refresh change and manually change in NVIDIA settings to 24p will result in a smooth playback.

Can anybody confirm this observation? (or declares that it is working for him?)

    Cheers,

    Update:

Trying to use 12noon as batch file in the RR activity field is generating the same results with a stuttering playback for 24p

I can confirm this. I'm seeing the same behavior. win7 x64, nvidia 195.62 and 190.62

As you said, if you start in 24p, it plays fine.

Also, if I connect to my HTPC with VNC(realvnc), then disconnect (even before playing video at 24p), then play the video, all is fine for the next video played. It will switch to 24p without issue, and play smoothly. I can't quite explain this, except it probably has something to do with the popup it displays and/or something to do with window focus? The same behavior happens while a video is playing. If it is choppy and I connect with VNC, it will play smoothly that time, and from then on until restarting MP.

I have attached a log with it stuttering on playback, then playing smooth after a VNC connect/disconnect.

Note: there are no refresh rate changes during VNC activities.

You can see in evr.log that it is dropping frames until I connected, where it mysteriously stops dropping frames until I close MediaPortal.

UPDATE: looks like changing this from EVR to VMR9 fixed the problem. Which renderrer is better? What advantages does one offer over the other?

ok, so I see why VMR9 isn't used.

Though it doesn't suffer from the stuttering playback after dynamic refresh rate changes, it has playback and crashing problems.

Log attached of VMR9 crashing on something EVR has no problem playing.

and yet another bug (the one I was originally trying to capture)

FF does not quite work right with coreavc. Not sure if this is MP or coreavc issue. 2x and 4x don't seem to go any faster while going past that definitely advances, but without audio/video. When you rewind however, it exits playback entirely.

Browsing shares is now much quicker but coverart has gone from the track listings.
I cleared all thumbs on update to this SVN and when going into shares view now I get album covers on album folder but not when I go into the track listing underneath

(cover art is embeded in FLAC files and stored as folder.jpg and I did clear skin cache on update too)
