Is it possible that there is a problem with detection if main title is not in VTS_01 file?

1. Bug fixed: log file was not set between quotation marks - and I was certain that done for all file names ages ago?
2. Fixed: Totally rewritten title detection which is now based on mencoder only but a bit differently than earlier try with it. Vstrip can be now removed.

how can I shrink a Movie. I want to use internal. The ripping works but the movie is too big
can I search OFDB for Movieinfos?

Not possible to shrink. If smaller size is needed then mencoder is the only option with this plugin.

I will test some more in following days. In the meantime you could start working on the series ripping option, ha? And an option to have subtitles embeded into the movie would also be nice

Hi Manfred. Thanks a lot for that GREAT plugin. It's really awesome.

Im having some problems with Daemon Tools or VCD. The problem is when I play an ISO (mediaslayer created) and then go back (ISO is still playing) and choose another ISO. It seems the first ISO is not being unmounted before the new one is mounted... And then Mediaportal stops and I have to kill the task.

So I have 2 questions:
1-) Do you also have that problem when playing ISO's? Do you have a solution?
2-) Is it possible to not create an ISO when ripping a DVD, and just copy the VIDEO_TS folder?

Another VIDEO_TS request

Firstly, thanks for a great plugin. I love the audio cd side, it works perfectly for me

I do however have a request if at all possible, i would like to have the VIDEO_TS folder copied to my stored DVD's location using for example DVD Decrypter with an online decoder eg. AnyDVD

The command line options I used in my test with DVD Decrypter are:

DVDDecrypter.exe /MODE FILE /SRC "d:\" /DEST "k:\DVD\[DISC_LABEL]\VIDEO_TS" /START /CLOSE

My thoughts were as follows:

1. Add a custom button to browse to select the individual's prefered ripping utility (in my instance, DVD Decrypter)

2. Add a section where custom command line options could be given for the specific application in configuration (this could help you in not having to implement each single request from every user on different type of output options required eg. VIDEO_TS folder, ISO etc)

3. Adding the possibility of multiple custom options, that the user can select the apropriate one from the GUI, eg. using different folders to rip to, using different DVD Rom drive letter if more than one DVD Rom in HTPC

4. Adding the coverart found into the folder where the DVD is saved, as "folder.jpg", for people that use the folder view, to also see the coverart

I dont know how possible this request is, but it will make a huge difference in the ease of use for my family and myself.

another thing I thought of that would be cool.

If there was a PROCESS plugin that went along with this. the plugin would monitor for a disc change. If it was detected, It would prompt the user with 3 options.

1)Play disc 2)Store disc 3)Do nothing

If play disc is selected, the plugin would play the disc. for blu-ray disc, it would have to be able to determine what player to use, and do that. that is really the only tricky part to this whole thing that I can see.

If store disc is selected, then it would follow the course to rip a disc and store it correctly.

if do nothing is selected, then it would just take the user back to where they were before they inserted the disc.

I know the detection part is in the plugin already because if you are on the mediaslayer screen and swap discs, it asks if we would like to rip it. so part of it is already done!!!

Just a thought, though.

Is there a way to rip using the "internal" method (to iso) and saving the iso into a folder with the movie name? (so it gets imported correctly with moving pictures)

Hey,
first off all, thank you for this plugin, but I have a silly question: What do I have to chose so that I can use AnyDVD in combination with this plugin? It's clear that I have to chose "Online decrypter installed", but than I can only select "Internal", "Imgburn", "Mencoder" or "DVDFab". Needn't I add the path to AnyDVD?
