MediaSlayer - CD and DVD HD ripping tool (1 Viewer)

Firstly would like to say that MediaSlayer is fantastic,

Has anyone had success with ripping dvds into H264 out of Mediaslayer??

If so can you please list your configuration it would be much appreciated!!

if i change the naming format, the plugin chrashs but if i set it to default it works in a normal way

i never had this bug with my old Slayer/MP version --> anyone an idea?

I want to have the following structure for music:

G:/music/interpret/albumname/tracks.mp3

but thats not possible at the moment

but how do you install a .mpe1 file?? last time i used the .mpi file in the plug in installer??

Also are people using mencoder to transcode to h264?? if so how??

in my case i can open the files with the following steps:

* right click on the install icon
* open with... and windows propose 2 differnt installers MPi and Mpe
* with one of them you can install it

Mediaslayer 1.5.0.0 (MediaSlayer_1.5beta1.mpe1) with MediaPortal 1.1.0 RC1 not working. After Installation and configuration of Mediaslayer when I launch the application from MP I get a black screen/no image.

There is a .xml-file missing in your skin folder if I am right and you are not using the custom b3(w) skin. What skin are you using?
You should either look at your skins thread if yomeone already postet a matching file or just copy the one from b3 (if you use a widescreen skin copy the one from b3w) and paste it into your skins directory. The name of the file is "Mediaslayer.xml". But that one will probably not look quite perfect with your skin.

Thanks for your help. I am actually using the custom Blue3 Skin. I was just trying to re-install mediaslayer but the MPInstaller is now saying "invalid package"

Is there a file called MediaSlayer.xml at all in your B3 folder?
