Hello, top plugin. I like it. But i have one question !!

Can I add more storage paths i can then select it over a popup in MEPO on the MediaSlayer Plugin?

Do it from MediaPortal configuration by adding a new folder for video or audio. Then you can click audio or video button at MS side and select path.

    Hi!

Does anyone know, where the downloaded media info is written, when the "Media Info" option is enabled in Media Slayer? Beside my ripped ".iso" file, there are no other files appearing.

Would be great, if Moving Pictures could use the media info, downloaded by Media Slayer - or at least use the imdb id from a .nfo file, that was written by Media Slayer.

Since Moving Pictures has no possibility to choose a movie match from inside Media Portal, I often have to close Media Portal and go to the configurations dialog.

In Media Slayer, there is a choosing list for movies - so would be great if this info could be used.

It is using MP internal databases for all info.

MP1.2B compatible plugin download link available at first page. This version has also a fix for mencoder ripping not starting at all.

Manfred, this was the last plugin i needed an update for :) Thanks a million! Great! Maybe not a realy active forum but if it just works you don't need a lot of talking about it :)

p.s. Don't forget to update the plugin compatibility icons at the download page.

    Hello,
the skin files were not installed in the appropriate directory for the new MP 1.2 Beta default skin. The files were still copied to the BlueWide directory, which is not used anymore. I copied the xml files manually, then the plugin works - but the background color is completely black, instead the blue color.

I ripped a movie with mencoder, and it did not work well. I got subtitles, and audio and video were out of sync. Also, I selected a 5.1 sound track and got stereo.

    Any ideas on that?

    thanks

Edit: Sorry, Manfred. Found the solution myself. Forget about the post below. A working mediaslayer.xml for Avalon is attached to the linked thread. Thanks for your great plugin!

    Hi Manfred,

I'm trying to make a mediaslayer.xml for the Avalon skin, but having some problems. Could you please have a look at this post:

    Your help is much appreciated.
    Thanks,

Any chance to add "ripping" from TV recordings? (converting TV recording to mpeg4 to save space)

Whilst this might be nice, I wonder if it wouldn't be better if this were incorporated as a feature in the TV section, which would hopefully be able to preserve the recording details in the database.

At the moment what I tend to do is have MCEbuddy monitor a separate folder and copy any TV recordings that I want to compress for archiving into that, but that's not ideal as I have to keep the original recording if I want to be able to access it from the TV Recordings section and see the details of the programme.

Whilst I can live with having to skip any mid-programme adverts (and can't justify the time to manually edit them out), I have to remove anything preceeding the start of the programme before compressing it, with a separate program at the moment but it would be nice if MP let us set a startpoint for any programmes we want to compress, as part of any inbuilt compression feature.
