^ Only MediaSlayer.xml needs to be adjusted and there is not so many components after all. Buttons should be already in place but images and some labels not... so after couple of minutes you will have a working skin.

oh dread!

The new dll seems to have broken MyMovies. I can't get even a single iso movie to play. I click okay, HDD light flashes a little and no popup, no start. With single iso I can move focus after selection but focus freezes with double iso movie after selection. with or without daemon tools.

will go back to old core.dll for now

Both files are needed, windowplugins.dll and core.dll and in correct folders!!!

I had both installed.

core.dll in MP root

windowplugins.dll in plugins/windows


I rolled them both back and get single iso movies playing.

I have some questions / failures:

Installation
- It looks as the files for Blue Two and Blue Two Wide would be installed – but they are not. I had to mark Monochrom and than to copy the files inside to Blue Two. That seems to work. May be it would be possible to copy it while installation.

Usage
- I configured paths for music and video in the configuration.exe
- When i click on Music or Video in MediaPortal there are different paths (may be standard dir’s) shown. Both are the same „c:\users\...“
- I have installed DVDFab 5.0.7.5. At start ripping that program pops up and asks for paid versions … I there a way around this?
- Mpeg4: I downloaded MPlayer-mingw32-1.0rc2.zip. I just copied the mencode.exe into a directory and configured the path in your plugin.
I get an error while ripping with mpeg4 „ripping failed – mencoder 1st pass error!“
Where i am wrong?

This is plugin installer behaviour. It will detect all skins installed and then automatically selects those even if plugin doesn't have files for it. Just untick everything else than Monochrome

GUI will list folders mapped on Music and Video settings only but in plugin configuration there is no limitation -> why to put files on folder which will not be listed in MP?

I didn' know about this 'cause using version 4. So it means that full version is needed for v5 - this is why we should get rid of ext. programs somehow

Something went wrong when selecting audio track. Do you remember what options were on the list? Should be smthing like "format: ac3 (5.1) language: de" and "format: dts (5.1) language: de"

any ideas about the multi iso movies issue? should I drop you some logs? I'd like to see this working... not just for me (of course )

Yes it is working OK here. See first post about logging (without logs can't help).

Here are the two logs. I hope they help in isolating the problem.

I had BlueTwo set as the skin and entered My Videos.

I selected a single iso movie to play, hit OK, but the HDD flashed only slightly, nothing happened.

I then selected a stacked iso movie, hit OK and the pick disk boxed popped up and I was able to select the first, and it ran without issue. I selected the second disk and it ran as well.

I tried to select a single iso movie again, but with the same result as the first.

I again selected the stacked iso movie and it ran.

Stopped and exited to collect logs.
