Thanks for fixing the menu generator pilehave!!!! I am creating a new menu as we speak....

    Hey Pilehave.

Was going at it again. Just tweaked TvSeries a bit. Sometimes I get a bit confused with the tiled layout of tvseries, I like it better when it's top down, so that's what I did. See screen.

WOW! I have to say this is the best damn developer community! Thanks for the mod Joz!

One question...How did you get the fanart to show? I select a fan art and click on 'Use Fanart', but it doesnt show on the 'home' tvseries page.... It will show when I click on the series, but just not the home...

Is that not the intention for the fanart only to appear when you select the series? Sorry if I seem as not knowing what I'm talking about but only started using TVSeries last night :)

    You're most welcome.

About the fanart, it's not really fanart as we all know it from tvseries and moving pictures. It's just an multiimage that has a path set to the fanart folder of tvseries. So it's not showing anything that is currently selected, it's just completely random. It's easy enough to change in XML. If you're interested I can tell you what to do.

Stormbringer: It was a bug, and he has fixed it now. Go create a new menu!

But first remove all that xml stuff..

    Sure!

I opened the XML and noticed the file paths to the files (an noticed your using XP.) I tried to put in the Vista image path ("C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\Fan Art") and then changed the image to a folder under the Fan Art folder ("fanart/original/79168-1.jpg") but it didnt work.... Do I need to change something more?

    :D

Hmm, it should work like that.
I'm not really into Vista so I don't know if there's some security limitation or something alike.

Ow wait a sec! The support for absolute filepaths has been added in a SVN I'm using. I think it's like the third to last one or something.... Not sure.

    joz,
So if you were to browse to the file in Windows Explorer, it would be located at...

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Thumbs\Fan Art\skin\FanArt\thetvdbID.jpg

    Correct?
