I think you have to edit the splashscreen.xml if I remember correctly.

thank you for the answer .. but.. the solution is:

Put the file (png, jpeg) in the "Media" folder and use the MediaStream plugin the rework the menu. If you edit a menu-item you must press "UPDATE" before your change is saved.
You can enter the filename manually or select from the pre-defined images.

You're right, I misread your problem. I thought you wanted to change the splashscreen. My bad.

I am using the video overlay plugin that shows movies playing in the background while still having the movie selection menu. However, the skin still shows a small movie window in top left corner. Is there any way to get rid of this small window?

i am a streamedmp and there s only one thing stopping me from using this version, which is the logos.
Is it on purpose that you dont use the same logos as streamedmp? I like them a lot more :s Would it be possible to have both versions?

This isn't perfect, and it requires you to have StreamedMP installed as well (it points to those logos), but it works. Mediastream has a wider format support + Network logos (still working in the attached .xml).

Backup your current .xml before using this.

Thanks to the makers of this AMAZING skin, it really is fantastic and gives us a great glimpse into what Media Portal can offer in the future.

I just had what should be a simple question, I just can't seem to work it out.

I am wanting to change the background images that appear for each menu item (highlighted with red circle in image below) but can't seem to find where the images are stored on my system. I have been able to achieve this with other skins but can't find them for StreamedMP.

Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated.
