A Big thankyou

I just wanted to post my experience and thanks. I was using streamedmp and was constantly cursing mediaportal for crashing, slow response, buggy etc. I was starting to think that htpc software was just asking a lot from my system. I have now moved over to mediastream and all my probs are gone. This skin is fast, good looking and stable, I cant believe the difference! so a big thankyou from me. I have the original mediastream on a original modded xbox in my sons room and this skin is much closer than streamedmp.
One piece of feedback/improvement I would like to see is the tv guide it just does not 'fit in' with the rest of the skin, I'm not sure of the graphics and colours - do you plan on updating/changing this at any point?

True, streamedmp is looking alot better in this area and it would be nice to see some changes in this skin.

I agree that StreamMP does have a better EPG Guide section, especially the 12 bar one that works perfect with FreeViewHD here in new zealand. Hey is it just me or is any one else having trouble with the mymusicplaylist.xml... You know the section you jump into from music when you want to use the scrobbler... This is very annoying as scrobbler is easily my favourite section.. When I go into it I just can't get to the side menu unless I use my mouse...

This is a game stopper.... Really needs to be addressed..

I think this is due to MediaStream having the menu on the right. I know other have reported this problem but I'll try and get an entry in Mantis (the bugtracker).

Have you tried this scenario with StreamedMP? Could be interesting to see if this is the same...

I did a little modification on the TV-Series screen. See if you can spot it:

And the answer is: If the episode thumb is missing, the fan art is displayed instead of the default placeholder image.

Edit 2009/01/31: Changed a parameter that sometimes would load the wrong series Fanart as default episode placeholder image. EDITED AGAIN This time it actually works. Had time to test it, and I didn't include all the necessary changes. Fan Art fading unfortunately has to be turned "off" in this .xml.

I' trying to do a slight mod to the OSD. Reason is I'm used to have the remaining time instead of duration showing on the right hand side. I'm guessing that the comon.progressbar.xml needs a quick tweak in this area but I'm not sure what to replace. Anyone?

I must say that I love this skin, it's the cleanest and does exactly what I want

I'm still getting no background art in my show times, I can see that it has been downloaded by the plugin, it's just not showing up. I've downloaded the latest update (24/1) and overwriten my skin but nothing... Am I doing something wrong??
