Since installing MP 1.1.3 (upgrade), My TV is now listed twice in the Home Menu. I had some issues with the install and had to manually install tvplugin.dll.

Any ideas on how to solve this?

15 days and no reply wow........

Dude my experience with upgrading software is, if it works great, if you run into issues it tends to be a nightmare and tons of time to fix. You may be better off and save time starting over. Sorry if this doesnt help but I thought I would at least be decent enough to try to help :)

Fixed, I think. Certainly the vintage MP2 installer that I was using no longer installs the LAV filters. I can only assume that these were never part of the install package itself, but rather downloaded during the install, and that link no longer exists. Shame that the installer doesn't indicate this. Last time when I installed the...

Many many years ago, I opened a bug report after I got that same message but I never got a reply. The reason was I had unchecked the Windows Media Player item in Windows 10 Control Panel > Program and Features > Turn Windows features on or off as I didn't need it, without thinking that it was needed by MediaPortal. I kept the "Media...

I downloaded your sample TV file and tried to get the subtitles to appear, but without success. :( I enabled all forms of subtitles in "MP Config". Subtitles appear for recorded TV residing in the "Recorded TV" folder. Subtitles appear for recorded TV residing in the "Videos" folder. Subtitles do not appear for your test file...

I'm running 2.5 with the WMC skin. I have .mp4 files, along with the related .srt files in the same folder. I can watch the movies just fine. In past versions of MP, like 2.4x, I could press the More Info button on my remote twice, and on the second press, an option for showing/choosing the subtitles was listed. I'd select the...

Thanks for your reply. I haven't forgotten about this. I have XMLTV mostly working, but MC2XML used to take care of two things that I have not yet accommodated. These are "New program indication" (for me, that was an asterisk "*" character in the program title) and "automatic time zone conversion". As I understand it, XMLTV is...
