According to myfonts they say regarding the Cennerik font:
First seen on MyFonts: November 6th, 2002
    Designed by: Robert Schenk
    Designed when: 1990
    Contained in Category: Sans Serif
    Design owned by: Ingrimayne Type

If you open the font (just double click on the font in the font directory) you got from the freeware site, what does it say?

Sorry about finding it was not free (at least not from the link to myfonts.com, from Okay) but I think we all want to insure the owner doesn't come knocking on our doors.

    S'funny. I can't find the font again.

I trawled through so many free font sites to try to find a font that appealed, I can't remember which site it came from. All the sites I have checked don't have it.

Needless to say, it's gone from my skins and I have replaced it with a more appropriate, free font.

    I have changed simplify too...

Hi again, liking the medrano font very much, suits the overall feel of the skin.

After prolonged sitting on my a*se today i noticed 2 wee problems with the skin. The progress bar on live tv is at the bottom (where it should be in my opinion) however on recordedtv and videos it is at the top.

Looking at the videoFullScreen.xml i can see there is some sort of problem but my knowledge hits the edge of a big precipice about there.

Also if i have been viewing a file and then press the big green button on my mce remote it takes me back to the basic home screen, which is good. However the title in the centre rather than being "radio", "music" or whatever MePo button i've highlighted is acutally the name of file i've just been viewing. Moving the cursor onto one of the other animated figures and then bringing it back solves the problem but that is rather clunky.

I hope you found this helpful,

    Cheers

I think both of those issues have to be related to the XML files, which are simply copied from Blue Two.

So we don't constantly bug Glenn with things that he doesn't have control over, it's probably wise that if anyone has any bug reports, they should switch to BlueTwo and confirm if the bug happens there too. If it does, then there is nothing Glen can do about it until it is fixed in BlueTwo.

Glenn is doing a fantastic job but I just want to make sure he doesn't get burned out from so many questions...

Love MePo Black, by the way.

    Hi Glenn,

if you will make animated hovers in the normal homescreen, we have now also the posssibility for this.

For using animations for the hovers, you must also make a animation.xml. Important is that the animation.xml has the same name as the normal hover.png. For example:
If you will do a animation for mymusic.
You must do a animaton.xml with the name hover_my music.xml instead of the hover_my music.png.
You must store then the new animation.xml in the Mediafolder, thats important, because mp search with the new homegui in the mediafolder to a file with the hovername and use then what is found. In this example for the mymusichover it will use the hover_my music.xml.
The original hover_my music.png must be deleted in the mediafolder for this.

You can use with new engine xml, png, bmp and gif.

Hi Harley, I tried to modify the Mepo Black skin so that the home menu icons are animated (I tested first with the TV animation).
I'm pretty sure I got everything correct, but I think there is a problem with the graphics packing when I do this.
I've made my hover_my tv.xml file and put that in the media directory, replacing the original png. When I do this, not only does the tv icon stop working, but lots of other graphics fail too. Looking the int packed graphics file, I can see lots of empty spaces. My guess is that when MP is trying to create these files it is failing from the tv icon onwards. Is this likely or am I just doing something stupid (which has been known to happen before)?

I've attached my error log and my animation file. Ignore all the other errors in the log file, this is my testing machine. I've renamed the xml as a text as I wasn't able to post an xml file here.

hover animation, which is pretty much just a renamed common animation file.

Has anyone made animated hovers for the regular home screen yet?

PS, I know this is getting off topic, but I wanted to post in the same thread harley did. Feel free to move this if any mods think that's best :)

Cool skin. Im using the green widescreen (which looks awesome on my 32" LCD). I have a request though: Would it be possible to make the EPG bigger? The font is so small its hard to read from 3 meters distance. so maybe if fewer lines are showed but with bigger fonts.
Its the same problem with the Blue2 wide theme.

I can of course get me a pair of binoculars for the EPG viewing instead...

Are you using the Medrano font build of MePo, Rockmeisster? I have the ep guide on my plasma and it's pretty legible.
