Edit: Just tried it out, and other than when I have a selected season of a show on screen, everything is overlapping and out of place. I do realize you wrote that it is a test version, but thought I would share that just in case if it isn't supposed to be that way.

Anyways, it looks awesome! I am very excited that you have taken the time to make this and hope that it comes together nicely.

It cant show a series with more than one season, that may be the error here?

Here is what I am seeing. Excuse the onscreen keyboard as I have a mac keyboard and no printscreen button.

I went ahead and searched on the forum where the cache folder is to make sure I cleared it properly and I did.

Edit: Just read your edit lol, well hopefully this post is somewhat helpful anyways.

I switched around the layout and it seems to work better. I think it was wide banner to display all the series, then once you click on a series there was a different poster style view for the seasons, then once you chose the season it displays your nice new view. Would it be possible to incorporate a seasons view similar to your new view? I personally like to see all of the same style view when navigating is why I ask.

Also I noticed something was off a little. The background for the date aired of the episodes is off, I circled it in red.

That's what mine looks like when I go into a series with multiple seasons.

I have 'wide banner' view selected for the series selection screen BTW.

fyi you can press F11 (or maybe F10) to get a screenshot in mp. it puts the screenshot in your my pictures folder.

In Film Strip view I prefer the Tagline to show rather than genre of the movie. I know my movies very well, and I know the genre even better.. So I took the liberty and changed Vergo's movingpictures.views.xml..

but please consider making room room for the overlay so it's not covered-up by the fan art.

This is definitely much improved. I do however have one problem which you can see in this photo. For some reason, on the main section of tv shows, when I have poster view it wants to use banner images.

Other than that it is working nicely. I do have a request as well. Would it be possible to keep the main tv show screen (where you select what show you want) with the original moving pictures style? I am trying to keep the navigating style similar throughout moving pictures tv shows and movies. Basically I am trying to achieve this: Show selection: Moving pictures poster style - Season select: your style - Episode select: your style.
