The rounded poster thing worked (I was trying, unsuccesfully, to edit 'movingpicturesviews.xml' Doh!), so much better that way.

NP, if you are not using RSS this may be a better menubar gfx for you.....copy it into you Media dir and rename to mymenu_bg

Will amend the editor to use this if RSS is swithed off/disabled, though not tonight....

Been tinkering

This is a WIP but thought I would post the idea and would welcome any comments, good/bad what should be added/left out.

As I never really liked the 3 buttons on the top right I decided to make these a pop up from the main menu bar when you hit the up button.

And as I have been looking at HTPCInfo by Micropolis I have intergrated this, currently still working out the layout and what should go on the screen, the plugin supplies loads of info so really just creating a summary screen.

The tricky bit is going to be adding this to the editor to allow choice of what to display where...

The attached screenshot is from a working system, all be if my dev system so no card info to display the intention is to have that.

I have to admit, the buttons & placement arent that great for me, this is a much better alternative.

Cos I'm not that fussed on having system info, is there any chance you could do a 'lite' version, where simply the three buttons appear on the tab above?

I know I'm being cheeky so if you've better things to do then ignore me!

That is already done...just got carried away with the System info stuff so have not intregrated that into the editor (would be selectable anyway) will add the 'lite' version to the editor and upload tomorrow..

Updated AeonMod Menu Generator V1.1.27.0

All,

I have just put Version 1.1.27.0 on the Google Code site.

Changes

• Removed some debug code
  
• Tidy up of the browser dialogue
  
• Changed the way the 3 top buttons work, now out slide out bar when you hit the up arrow/key.
  New GFX required 3buttonbar.png, included in archive
  
• Fixed crash when trying to run editor on system without MP installed.
  
• Added check for InfoService V1.1.0.0 and now use the separator defined in the plugin for RSS and Twitter feeds.

The included README covers installation of the new GFX file.
