Hi,

nice to see that coverflow is supported allready! But indeed, it needs some finetuning..

I have a question: Is it possible also to add this mod to default? I'm not using fanart because I like the screen in the image bellow and that one is only possible with default.. Fixed this one myself..

Also fixed rounded covers in coverflow..

Another question: I noticed that StreamedMP is using low quality thumbs from C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\MovingPictures\Covers\Thumbs for coverflow..

The resolution of this thumbs are a bit to low.. When I put the thumbs of C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\MovingPictures\Covers\FullSize, that have a bigger resolution than the thumbs, into the thumb folder; the quality of the covers are a lot better..

So I like to know how I can set the covers in the latest directory as default one for coverflow.. Have spent some time to it, but can't find where I have to change this..

powermarcel10, the XMLs amended for animation effects are movingpictures.common.details.xml and movingpictures.common.details.mediainfo.xml.

I put Black frames in coverflow as default, since there is only one frame setting from unfocused covers. Am afraid that for the time being, that is what we can provide. Also, there is a limitation of image/thumb/frame size on coverflow and if you change one, all changes.

Regarding thumbs, I agree that sometimes, the resolution isn't that good, but don't know where to change for it to pick the hi-res images.

It's the same in filmstrip view as well, the larger cover is fine but the ones in the actual filmstrip are the low res thumbs, problem on a large tv though is these thumbs are actually pretty big and the quality is noticeable.

Could you help me maybe a bit with that? And can you give me an example of a slide animation string maybe? I thought It was easier to change!

I think that the solution with the black default frame is not so bad.. It's still looking pretty awesome!

Slide animations will look like this:

<animation effect="slide" end="0,400" time="250">VisibleChange</animation>

replace <animation effect="fade" time="250" delay="0">VisibleChange</animation> with the above and details should slide to be bottom of the screen.

Regarding the low resolution thumbs, what I did was to take a backup of C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\MovingPictures\Covers\Thumbs and execute this little batch program I wrote.

The batch program will scan through C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\MovingPictures\Covers\Thumbs and copy from C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\thumbs\MovingPictures\Covers\FullSize the corresponding high resolution thumb.

I did read the wiki before but I didn't know exactly what to do.. I have changed all "<animation effect="fade" time="250" delay="0">VisibleChange</animation>" into <animation effect="slide" end="0,400" time="250">VisibleChange</animation> but now I only see the fullsize fanart and I don't see the movie information anymore.. Also not after pressing the up or down button.. Any idea?

Does this animation does the smae thing btw in both directions? So when you press down, it slide down, and when you press up after that, it slide nicely up again?

Also test you bat file.. It's a good temporary solution but it would be better if the skin is keeping the files from the fullsize cover folder.. Now I have to set an activity in the taskplanner and I will see when the .bat file execute. I will ask that in the StreamedMP topic..
