Got a little bug for you P.R!

It's not really a big deal but in the "my videos-->info-->subtitle screen" the ondown/onup commands for delay and enabled are switched. Moving up from sub1 takes you to delay, while it should logically take you too enabled. Going further up from delay takes you back down to enabled.

I edited the onup/ondown commands for you. The fixed file is attached.

P.R can you rethink your MPI decision? WIth the TV series options and the different fonts, I think your skin would benefit most from using the MPI architecture.

That would be very nice, thank you! My CRT widescreen always jumps to another view format when set to automatic because the background is almost black. With the blue-ish background this won't happen.

I copied your files to my skins\monochrome\media folder and overwritten the original files, but still I have no magenta background(?) It still looks 'monochrome'.

You have to delete the cache..

its located in: "program files\team mediaportal\mediaportal\cache\" if you use xp
in vista its located under "programdata\team mediaportal\mediaportal\cache\".

Everytime I start MediaPortal it looks like in the first picure and I need to change it by pushing the start button on my MCE Remote.
How can I configure that MediaPortal starts with the original monochrome skin, 2nd pic?

You need to configure mediaportal to start with the basic home screen under the configuration.
