Tutorial for customising the Basic Menus is very nice.
I customized my basic home screen and it works fine.
Only a thinks don't work fine for me: i'm not be able to change "Mes Films" in Watch menu with "wwiTV plugin".
With "wwiTV plugin", Watch menu work only with keybord and not with remote too.

Can you help me?


IMDB Data in Shares View
for me don't work fine. I get always the same IMDB for all videos

I get exactly the same behaviour with respect to the IMDB info shown in my videos. Nothing it displayed until I get the imdb info, and then it just stays the same no matter which video I select.

You can't have your movies in folders for this to work! All the files have to be in the same folder(or you have to enter the movie folder for it to show the imdb info.)

Have you installed the patched Configuration.exe, core.dll and WindowsPlugin.dll.

When you install these there is a new option to enable IMDB in shares view, only once enabled it work. A few people included myself have problems with the patched configuration.exe where there is an exception on load. In that case it requires a manual configuration change in MediaPortal.xml under the movies section:

I think I found a bug in MyMusic.
When I start playing an mp3 album there appears a small Cover of it on the down left screen side. When I enter than and leave "Now playing" the small Cover is disappeared (bug?).

I have to restart MP to get the small cover of actual playing music.

A 1080 version would be very nice and would be an advantage to those with a 1080 display.

I am actually on a 60" 1080 plasma, and as I said, the skin scales perfectly fine.

What do you feel would be gained from building it to 1080, other than making the files larger?

I may be missing something, of course, but what?

In theory you will be able to see more on screen due to the extra pixels, so the epg in mytv for instance could show more channels on the vertical or stretch further on the horizontal. I'm basing my opinion on what I've seen of the 1080 version of Spinsafe revolve.

I have a 'possible' bug.
With a multi part movie the individual files appear in the filmstrip view.

I have a 2 part movie file which appears twice in the list.
The movie is listed once in the movie DB, with both files appearing under the 'files' tab.
Is this a bug in the skin or MP?
Anyone else seeing this?

How did you name them?

"filename-cd1.avi" and "filename-cd2.avi" ? As long as my files are named like this I don't see more then "filename" (or when using Zeflash's files I get the name from the database displayed.)

Don't know if this was mentioned before:

In MP-TVSeries main screen, I press the 'right' button on the remote 3 times. This takes me to 'Unwatched', I can't select anything there, nothing seems to have focus. If I press left it goes back to 'All' series and the pagedown button has focus. Can't select series anymore with the remote (up or down), the only solution is to position the mouse cursor over a season banner with the mouse.

Ooopss, and I figured I screwed something up with the new version I'm working on, glad it only cost me an hour or so ;-)

Interestingly it seems to work if you only navigate through the views to the left, but if I go to the right the facade looses focus

I just installed Monochrome 1.4 and I have this issue too, any news on this?
