If you're busy coding such things why not take a peak at what might be causing the bug!
MediaPortal is open source so you can easily get access to the code via SVN.

What kind of renderer do you use?

Seems like the issue is only solved for Vista users.

Default everything with the inbuilt TV-engine. I uninstalled the SVN and went back to RC3 an hour ago, but now it works (i.e. Autohide works perfectly again).

Maybe the XP part of the function is really broken, another user reported it to be not working here: https://forum.team-mediaportal.com/...vision-20683-rar-47722/index2.html#post323360

I just tested it on my notebook, which has XP home SP3. It's working fine there as well. The notebook uses VMR9.
