When I grab info from IMDB the movieinfo sticks, but covers won't show. Anyone know why this is and what I can do to fix it..

Using Monochrome skin, but happens in blue two as well.

Either it's a particular file, or imdb servers are overloaded, get it ocassionally when doing a complete reinstall, especially after 5pm.

if it's a consistant file it happens to, find the exact movie on the imdb site itself, and cut'n'paste name directly to that file, then should scan fine.

    Regards

Thanks for your reply! But the problem isn't that the cover and info doesn't get downloaded, it does, and the cover is downloaded to the correct folder. The problem is that the cover doesn't show in MP under My Movies..

If your using MP1RC, wonder if this was a path error (there were, but now fixed), try updating to the latest svn.

or are you still on 0.2.3.0 as your my sys shows :)

    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Appdata\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal

Both the database\thumbs folders containing the neccessary files should be found there now.

Seem to be, no one else has answered.

Cannot see any setting in config that would screw this up for you, so either your moviedatabase is at fault or possibly the mediaportal.xml file, back both up and reconfigure MP and try then doing a single movie scan to see if it shows up in MP.

Totally lost if that does not work. :(

Could you check the path to the movecover in your moviedatabase and post it here for one of your movies..

Never mind, Had to tick the every movie has its own folder checkbox under my movies. The covers are now showing :)

Find it odd though that I had to tick that coise since al my movies are ISO's in one and the same folder..

Anyways Thanks alot for your time PD!!

maybe setting loglevel to debug might pinpoint the difference between normal and stuck? Preferable with as much disabled as possible also try to see if anything is happening during stuck for the mediaportal process(resource monitor, disk activity, cpu usage, anything) maybe other programs competing for resouces?
