I finally got MP1 and the new LAV configured and movies playing extremely well.
One of the movies I use to test it Top Gun

This morning I ran Top Gun (1080p) in MP1 with zero issues and Task Manager showed low CPU usage and memory about 200,000l
Next I ran the exact same movie in MP2. Lots of shuttering, CPU usage (Dual Core) went to 100% and memory was over 350,000k

With this last test version (http://tinyurl.com/nbprm9t ) did something change?
I am including MP1 and MP2 client logs. Let me know if there is something more you need.
    thanks

    Some strange things:
Looks like a very strange screen resolution:
    Code:
    [2014-07-25 08:18:34,340] [6267 ] [Main ] [INFO ] - DirectX: Using adapter: 0 AMD Radeon HD 5450 Hardware
    [2014-07-25 08:18:34,450] [6376 ] [Main ] [INFO ] - DirectX: HAL: AMD Radeon HD 5450
    [2014-07-25 08:18:34,471] [6398 ] [Main ] [INFO ] - GraphicsDevice: DirectX initialized 1776x1000 (format: X8R8G8B8 59 Hz)

My guess would be the refresh rate changer:
    Code:
    [2014-07-25 08:19:32,296] [64223 ] [AMQ 'SynchronizeToPrimaryPlayer'] [DEBUG] - RefreshRateChanger.SetDisplayConfig(...): SDC_VALIDATE of 24000/1001 failed
    [2014-07-25 08:19:32,315] [64242 ] [AMQ 'SynchronizeToPrimaryPlayer'] [DEBUG] - RefreshRateChanger.SetDisplayConfig(...): Successfully switched to 24000/1001
Can you move the plugin out of MP2-Client folder and test again?

Next would be to post screenshots of renderstats (F10)

This is very strange. To me it looks like video decoding can't deliver frames fast enough. But I have no idea why, as it should be fast enough.

Can you try toggling rendermodes (F11) while stats are on? I don't expect real changes, just to test it.

Next would be to check the DirectShow-graph for used codecs. You can do this with GraphEdit/GraphStudio(Next), connecting to "remote graph" (the playing video inside MP2). Please post a screenshot of graph.

I tried all the settings under F11 - Same thing + I turned up the sound and it is Stop, Go, Stop. Go like every 2 seconds or so.

I do not understand how to start this GraphEdit/GraphStudio(Next),

    EDIT: Installing SDK now....

    Hi.
For me refresh rate changer did not work any more with the latest version. Excerpt of this I can play videos in MP2 without issues. More tests has to follow and I will dig deeper into this later today.
Maybe it's because my now used Intel HD4600 GPU is a lot stronger than the AMD HD5450 (I own a PointOfView HD5450 for a long time now so for me it's easy to compare)...

What I found Real interesting is the Maxed out CPU's.
It is almost like MP2 is not even using the Hardware on the video card (btw: connected to my 47" thru HDMI and everything is setup for 1080p) yet MP1 the CPU's are way low....

    For what its worth...

    Hi.
Here is a screenshot playing recent Arrow Episode (1080p) with MP2:
    Zwischenablage-1.jpg

And here the same episode played with MP1:
    Zwischenablage-2.jpg

    No significant difference between both...
For me the playback is fine as it is,
Only the no longer working Refreshrate Changer is something I'm desperately missing. But I can't tell if it's the new MP2 version or the new GPU...

Neither MP1 or MP2 are that clean for me with the Graph.
Have a clue on how I might change that?
MP1 the Red line is wacky.... Video and Audio are good but I think it could be better

Are you using any Hardware Acceleration set in LAV Video decoder settings? Can you disable it and see if it works better?
