Sorry watched flag support is not implemented yet. The field is in the database but it effectively does nothing right now. It is coming soon though.

@cyberfix: OMG well done. I am reviewing your changes now and once I sort through things and test them I will commit them. PMing you with further info.

No way, almost a guarantee, there will never be a release where you have no choice but to totally rebuild your whole database. You should be able to just drop in a new DLL.

Yes there are two ways, the recommended way, via meligrove.com which shares the new backdrop with everyone, or you can add it manually to just your system. See this thread, there are details on both explained on the first page.

Sorry, no FAQ yet. Coming soon. :( Did you click the red X earlier? To ignore a file. This is a permanent ignore function, which means a file will not come up in new scans. In the near future (you are probably tired of hearing that) we will be adding an "ignored files" list so you can unignore files. But this unfortunately is not implemented yet. The only way to bring something back from ignore status at this point is to manually edit the database (not supported) or rebuild from scratch. Very sorry. :(

now that I am thinking about it though, if you just added a new file to an import folder, ignored status should not apply. What is the file name and file size? If the file is very small or has an unusual name that Moving Pictures thinks is a sample file, then it might get ignored. Also verify the folder the file is in, is in a watch folder or a subdirectory of a watch folder registered with Moving Pictures.

added the movie american pie 2 everything is in the correct folder size 700mb

but ... i remember i had two american pie's the first time i created the db and i deleted on of them so maybe its the problem with the permanent ignore
cant rember what i did yesterday night *g*

but the process to add a new movie is to click "force rescan" right?

ps: im not tired about hearing that something will be included in the future

i really like moving pictures !

by the way thanks for your support !!

To add a new movie you should just need to drop the file into a watch folder. If Moving Pictures feels like it has found a very high probability match it will auto-approve it and it will be automatically added to your move list with zero interaction. If Moving Pictures feels like the match is iffy, if it is not sure, it will put it in the pending list, waiting for you to confirm the match (or pick a different movie for the file).

It sounds to me like maybe the folder your file is in is different from the folder that is registered with Moving Pictures. Post your log file though I will take a look and tell you if anything looks fishy. setting the entire log as a file attachment would be ideal.
