There haven't been any major issues with the latest RC, so it's likely that release will be rebranded as 1.0 Stable, with little if any code changes.

All my .iso files are being matched to the movie media (1999). All .AVI files are fine. Any ideas, this is happening on two different PCs. Latest RC (1.04).

I've attached a screen shot of what the defaults are when I click the rescan with custom search string

Intro movies won't work for me...anyone have this problem? As soon as I set one, I can't play any movies. Once I "unset" the custom intro movie value, I can then play all my movies fine. Tried 3 different files, 2 vob 1 m2ts file, none work. Any hints?

Do those intro movies play when you manually add them into your MovPic collection?

If it doesn't play normally with internal player it won't play as intro either.

Consider converting the VOB and/or M2TS files into AVI or MKV otherwise.

Weirdly enough I decided to add them all to the videos folder and then play them in mediaportal - they worked. So I shrugged, went back into moving pictures advanced config, set one to the intro again, and played a movie, and this time it worked. Didn't make any other changes to the config...weird.

First off I would like to say thanks for an awesome plugin.
This along with MP-TVSeries are the best plugins for MediaPortal for me.

    I have one question though.
In the description for this plugin you say "Moving Pictures is designed to manage your movie collection stored on your hard drive, network and removable drives, DVDs, and Bluray disks."

Does this refer only to ripped discs, for example ripped DVD's and bluray's?
I thought at first it meant that maybe I could catalog my movies on disc to show up in the Moving Pictures plugin, only that I of course could not start the movie from the plugin, since it is not ripped.
The reason for this is because I would like to avoid ripping blurays, since I want to keep both the full resolution and the best audio, which would result in very big .iso files.

    Hi mArBLe,

no, this refers to any movie or optical disc.
For example, I ripped all my DVD's to my hard drive and, for storage reason, kept my Blu-ray's and HD-DVD's in their boxes.
Listing your movies gives you a cool beahviour as, when Moving Pictures is launched and you insert a listed DVD, it will open directly this movie's description and allow you to play it.

Edit : I must add that Moving Pictures gives you full possibility of Blu-ray and HD-DVD movies playback without having to use an external player (I insist on the word movies as you will only be able to play movies and not other features). This includes audio track and subtitles switching.
Only known issue (as far as I m concerned), if a movie is split into multiple files on your blu-ray disc, Moving Pictures will only play the largest
