AW: Re: Moving Pictures 1.3: Now With Search

    Hi fforde.
Just wanted to say that c:\intros\${audiocodec}\ works nicely!
I got a sub with TrueHD, DTSHD, AC3, MP3, MP2A, DTS, OGG, AAC, WMA, PCM and using trailers from DTS THX Dolby WMV Movie Distributor VOB Trailers

How were you able to play .vob files?
    Thank you!

Re: AW: Moving Pictures 1.3: Now With Search

Where can I always download the latest version of mediainfo.dll?

And I can't find good intro video's.. I'm watching for some short 720P video's for Dolby-D and DTS.

Latest MediaInfo @ MediaInfo - Download

Be sure to get the "32-bit" -> DLL -> "without installer", because even on a 64-bit OS you need this as MediaPortal is a 32-bit application.

Wide range of trailers that are specific to video or audio effects @ DTS THX Dolby WMV Movie Distributor VOB Trailers

    Thanks RoChess!

I have also another question.. What I'm trying is to let custom intro's played..

I want to let a dts intro play on movies that has DTS, and let Dolby digital movies played for movies that has Dolby digital..

I this possible yet? Or am I trying something that doesn't work (yet)

Yeah, seen that but I can't figure out how it works..

I have a file called ${audiocodec} dts.m2ts But it's playing for all movies included movies with Dolby-digital or stereo sound.. So I don't know how to configure this.. Also seen the wiki, but it's not clear to me.. Can someone tell how to configure? Do I have to add subfolders with the name of the codec or someting?

    Hi fforde.
Just wanted to say that c:\intros\${audiocodec}\ works nicely!
I got a subdirectory with TrueHD, DTSHD, AC3, MP3, MP2A, DTS, OGG, AAC, WMA, PCM and have placed trailers from DTS THX Dolby WMV Movie Distributor VOB Trailers i appropiate directories..

(I think the files were mt2s, "bluray" format ( http://www.demo-world.eu/trailers/high-definition-trailers.php ) . You should be able to play any files type as long as them have been added to mediaportal video extension: Video Extensions * - MediaPortal Wiki)

    Ok here it is then...
    Create the following directories:
    c:\intros\TrueHD
    c:\intros\DTSHD
    c:\intros\AC3
    c:\intros\MP3
    c:\intros\MP2A
    c:\intros\DTS
    c:\intros\OGG
    c:\intros\AAC
    c:\intros\WMA
    c:\intros\PCM

Place the videofiles in the directories with the soundcodec they use. Their filenames are unimportant. Just use the default ones from the website.
So one file could look like this c:\intros\DTS\hd_dts_short_m2ts

Add this to movingpictures config: c:\intros\${audiocodec}\

    Thanks a lot 1stdead, now I understand..

I'm sory but it wasn't easy to configure that without your help so the wiki needs an update I think..

I want to report one (possible) bug.. When I stop the intro while it's not finished yet, I can't let it play again when try to load it for another movie.. Also when there is another audiocodec with another video it doesn't play anymore.. It's only working again after a MP restart.. Only when I let the custom intro finish, it still working with another movie..

Can someone confirm this? Otherwise I can post logs if needed..

    :D

Just about to rebuild my HTPC.... can you apply simply install Moving Pictures 1.3 over the top of Streamed MP 1.7.5? Or should I specifically not install Moving Pictures with Streamed MP and do this separately? I assume the imdb title bug is fixed in 1.3?

EDIT: Just found and read the changelog, so that's the last question answered ;)
