Moving-Pictures has a new system now to remove articles, which is localized. So please verify your advanced settings on this. It should correspond with the language you select for the MovPic importer to use.

I run as well german data along with english info. I decide case-by-case based on the audio stream language the movie has. Will it take the prefixes list afresh each time i pick the german or the english importer?

when you select moving pictures from the Titan home screen, then press the "green button" on the MCE remote, to take you back to the Titan home screen, moving pictures shows a half width blue box where TV should be located.

Aaaaaaaah, that problem.. Haha, I was thinking something completely different.. I think this is not the right place to ask.. I'm shure we will see an update of Titan extened soon, and I know there will be some new files for MovingPictures.. Big change that this problem will be fixed, but offcourse I'm not shure..

Upon startup of MovPic plugin, it scans your existing collection for any missing mediainfo, artwork, etc. It also scans for new files and imports them if needed. The entire process of mediainfo, importing, etc is not very concurrent friendly if you are using a slow system and/or items that are not multi-thread optimized.

For example the LAV codec is not very multi-thread friendly, and you should try the MPC-HC standalone filters.

Even on a fast system, if LAV is in use by MediaPortal for playback and I evoke it again on the same box via concurrent RDP then it starts to skip frames inside MediaPortal. I repeat the same test with MPC-HC codecs and it works fine. Granted I still use LAV, because I simply avoid the concurrency issue.

In your case, you can for example adjust MovingPictures to not auto-import or at least reduce the impact. And you should check your movingpictures.log file to see what entries in your collection cause it to constantly look for new artwork, rescan mediainfo, etc. If you simply fix all those anomalies one at a time, then there is hardly any impact, except the quick scan to verify all is ok.

Open MovPic config, while at the "Movie Importer" tab, click on the gear icon and remove the checkmark infront of "Automatically Retrieve MediaInfo" by selecting it. This will then disable MediaInfo for MovingPictures.

However MediaPortal uses MediaInfo as well at every playback to check for framerate info for IFC/etc, so keep in mind that this only disables MediaInfo for the import into MovingPictures.

The plugin works fine until i go to the Movie Manager it's allways loading movies, but nerver ends and i can't edit manually the films. I try to update the plugin but the problem continues. Appreciate help. Sorry for my poor english, i'm from spain.
