Great plugin..

Any chance of getting a NFO importer added to this app.. so it just scans the nfo in each folder, and displays that?

I was currently using xbmc, which it supports nfo files, so instead of connecting to imdb. it just scans the nfo and displays all the imdb info thats in the file

There already is an NFO scanner in moving pictures that will only get the imdb id from that file and fetch the details from the IMDB website.

I really like this plugin! ! I transferred from MyFilms to Moving pictures very easily , because it found many films directly.
I currently only miss my external movies on disc (with disc numbers) that I categorized in Ant movie catalog.

The only "bug" that i found thusfar was that if in the watched folder some program makes a folder (such as My playlist or something) the plugin sometimes loses connection with the movie directly below that folder. Strange.

One minor issue for me is that if I scroll through the list and enter a movie for details and then return to the list, it always starts again at movie number 1. I then have to move all the way down again. This behaviour is also found in myfilms and mymovies. Would it be possible to return to the list at the same movie?

That's odd. When I go into the details screen and then back in the list/thumbs/filmstrip view, the correct movie is still selected.

Oh no not again, this is the third time I'm receiving this error message
"An error occured while loading the plugin MediaPortal.Plugins.MovingPictures.MovingPictures.GUI"

I have to delete the database and start again. Maybe it's due to my multi-seat setup, but I'm really careful with how I update.

That is usually caused by a database with some invalid data which can be caused by several things. There is an issue with a runaway art update thread in 0.5.5c that can cause it in some rare situations. A multi-seat setup might cause it too I am not sure. The next version should handle bad data in the database a little better though. i.e. Even with the bad data in your database, the next version will still at least load fine. PM me and we can talk more about possible options outside of rebuilding your DB.

Does anyone know how I can find the missing DVD cover art? I have about 5 movies that moving pictures found all the infor for except the backdrop and cover art. I searched on goodle but the only images I can find look HORRIBLE in moving pictures. Any suggesstions? I just find it odd that it get's all the detaisl but not the art......

Also, I have a lot of .iso files that it finds but when I load MP and then scroll down to the .iso movie in the moving pictures menu it tells me it was not "able to mount DVD image"??? ans suggesstions on either one of these? Thanks!

Coverart will be improved in the coming release.
As for iso's: do you have daemon tools installed?
