    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Import a VIDEO_TS folder as a movie in MovingPictures
    2. Open MovPicInfo and export the movie's info to an .nfo file
    3. Import the movie with My Videos using the nfo importer
    4. Try to play it and see what happens

That is a bug then in MyVideos importer, did you try it on MediaPortal v1.7 pre release? Might already be fixed. If not, then report bug to the MyVideos developers.

I'm running 1.7 pre relase. ;) And I've reported it.

Would it be possible to have the movie title as opposed to the file name when exporting movies to nfo?

    Example:

    Die Hard cd1.nfo (currently happening)
    Die Hard.nfo (would be better?)

    Doesn't %Title% work then?

I've been too lazy to correct my own collection, so I still have not been able to use this tool myself. Makes sense to me that would work though, since it uses %Filename%.

It actually exports files named %Title%.nfo if you do that, LOL. I just tried it.

Was worth a try. Actual support will have to be build in then (you'll have to wait for developer to respond then).

For right now you can simply use a workaround to delete all the *cd2.nfo files and then remove " cd1" from the others.

Or step into 21st century, abandon multi-part files and mux them together finally with easy to use 3rd party tools :)

I've done this with most of the old stuff I can't find, but three or four movies can't be appended in VirtualDub (I don't feel like re-encoding).

    Hi.
Ever tried MKVMerge? This only don't work if the videos are at different resolution and/or codec. In such cases the only solution indeed is recoding.

    Hi.
Does it work with .avi containers as well as .mkv?
OFC you can use video files in AVI container. But as result you will always get videos in MKV container. No disadvantage as MKV is the most flexible container available today...

I've always relied on "AVI Mux GUI" myself, to split my own files and to later re-mux them together. It supports some other codecs, but clearly meant for AVIs obviously.
