Hi Guys
I have just spend the past 48 hours trying to do i complete reinstall of my main Media centre and upon trying the new MP 1.0.1.0 i have a rather annoying issue, every 8 seconds my skin will freeze for about 1.5 seconds, i have this fault on both the Blue3wide skin and StreamedMP ver .440,
strange thing is i have had this issue on both Win XP pro and Vista 32bit, (i tried a reinstall of XP as a test) watching the CPU i notice that while MP is responding correctly mediaportal.exe uses about 60% CPU and then during the freeze Mediaportal.exe actually drops to 0% (and no other process is using all the CPU cycles) its more or less all idle i have tried multiple ati driver versions and CCC both installed and not installed all to no avail
Also the freeze does NOT effect video playback or sound at all, it is purely a freeze within the skin .
just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this or knows of a solution, i really want to upgrade to the latest release to take advantage of the skin performance gains and other features.
But unfortunatly i have had to go back to MP1.0.0.0 final with SVN 21527 as this is the version i was using,
Any help would be much appreciated
