Actually there were changes to the discontinuity logging. Mantis 3571. No idea why it was turned off in the first place - I don't think tourettes knew why either...

:sorry:My mistake... although couldn't comparing TsWriter logs between 1.2.0b and 1.2.0rc give people the information they're looking for (or are discontinuities at the TsReader stage not detected at the TsWriter stage)?

I've never had a reason to look very far inside the TsWriter code, so I don't know exactly how it's discontinuity logging works, but yes, a 1.2.0b -> 1.2.0rc comparison of TsWriter logs might be useful.

Ok I sampled some logs from my old 1.2.0 beta. I saw some stutter, not like in 1.2.0RC, but more prolonged like
you would play it with reduced speed (does that make sense?).
Unfortunately my logs was cluttered with plugin data so I made a new one, but this time i saw no stutter.
I recall that something happened from alpha -> beta in regards of stutter. I dismissed it since it was intermittent
and could be stutter free for hours. I blamed bad reception and aligned my dish perfectly, still stutter.
With 1.2.0rc it became very obvious without the "don't drop discontinued packets".

Without the "don't drop discontinued packets" ticked i see stutter very early. So I don´t know what conclusions could be
drawn from this other than it works as it should? If it would help i will revert to 1.1.3 to see if it behaves in the same way.

The latest Tsreader dont works perfect with (TV AC-3 prefer enabled).
Without AC3 very well.

Without. Think Owlsroost said that the old version did not have this implemented for SD on 1.1.3.
I´m now trying Owlsroost tsreader_nostopmod on a 1.2.0rc and "don't drop discontinued packets" ticked. It
seems to be the best solution yet for 1.2.0rc. But it might not be related.
