MP Config crashes when 'Removing non-existing songs' (1 Viewer)

sorry ich schreib mal auf deutsch, weil es doch etwas komplizierter ist.
Also ich habe ein frisches 1.14.02 installiert.
1. Datenbank komplett einlesen lassen.
2. ein komplettes Verzeichnis mit 18MP3-Dateien gelöscht
3. Datenbank neu mit "only update / new..." gescannt - es wurden 6 Dateien hinzugefügt !
4. Komplettscan angeblich nicht hinzugefügt oder gelöscht - aber die Gesamtanzahl der Dateien hat sich richtig verändert
5. 44Mp3 mit Folder.jpg hinzugefügt = 50Files
6. Komplettscan 50 Fildes added OK.

Irgendwie schein nur der Komplettscan zu funktionieren, bzw. es wird eine Änderung des Bestandes angezeigt - nicht immer richtig
Vielleicht kann das mal jemand testen - aber irgendwas stimmt da nicht nicht - sorry.

Ok, i did a test now.

Have a share with 2 folders, containing 12 songs each and a folder.jpg.

1. deleted music database
2. started a full scan

Result is 24 files added

3. Deleted one complete folder
4. started scan with "Only update ..." selected

It skipped the 12 files, because they were not updated in between the 2 scans.

The log shows that the 12 songs from the deleted folder were removed:

and in the MP GUI i only have 12 songs.

So the system works as it should.


Are you just telling us that the counters are wrong or do you actually see a inconsistency in the database?

Have also tested the Testversion. Imported all my Musicfolders. Fine. Then i added 50 Files and let MP import those Files. That also works fine and MP reported correct 50 Files.

I got the correct counts too
I might be reading it wrong but it looks like you had

• 2x folders with 12x songs = 24 songs
• Scanned ok
• Deleted 1 folder so
• 1x folder with 12x songs = 12 songs
• The scan deleted 12 songs as 'missing'
• MPGUI = 12 songs (as it should?)

Is this not correct, or is it me?
(it might be this fine 40 year old Single Malt I have in my hand!)

Hi,

had exactly the same issue on 2 windows 10 and 1 windows 8.1 maschine. ....works with the patched installer......windows 10 machines are clients with mp3 files on network share, windows 8.1 is combined server/client with local folders
