MP crash/freeze when TV plugin is Enabled--SOLVED!-- (1 Viewer)

Hi, I'm using MP1.2.1
when opening MP it hangs of crash at "initializing extensions"
If I disable the TV plugin , then it opens fine.

any suggestions?

No clue. How about some logs to help us help you? Use the watchdog:

0. Enable the TV plugin and reproduce the problem.
1. Find the "debug mode" link in the "Team MediaPortal" folder in your start menu and start it.
2. Select option 3 "export all currently present logs".
3. Click "proceed" - this will create a zip file containing your logs on the desktop.
4. Post the zip file here. There are instructions for attaching a file in the watchdog link above if you don't know how to do that.

*Please* always post logs if you want help - it should be quite easy and it makes our job very much easier.

Thanks for the logs.

It seems to me that the problem is the database connection. Your connection string in the gentle.config file in C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\ is "Server=192.168.2.102;Database=MpTvDb;User ID=root;Password=mediaportal;charset=utf8;Connection Timeout=30;". The default password is MediaPortal (case sensitive), not mediaportal. Please try to fix that and see if it resolves the problem. Note that C:\ProgramData is a hidden folder, so paste the path into the address bar of Windows Explorer or enable viewing of hidden and system files and folders.

it's all because the cable company replaced my router that had other network address then the one I had before...
