mp crashed unexpectedly (1 Viewer)

i cant get mp start..Please help....
update..i tried to install 0.2.3.0..no luck..i cant get it started..

Phenom 9850 be
2gb Ocz 800mhz
750gb samsung
sapphire 3850
HighPower 500w
Nec slim dvd-writer
silverstone gd02-mt

1st try vista x86+3850 crashed
2nd fresh install vistasp1+3850 crashed
3rd fresh install vistasp1+3200 crashed
finally fresh install xp pro sp3+3850 crashed

Something is wrong i am getting the same error message..
Please help

Delete everything in this folder and try again: C:\ProgramData\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Cache\

thanks for your help but that folder is already empty,i check that with show hiddenfies and hide windows protected files optins...

Are you running two graphics in crossfire mode, seems not to work with MP from what i have read, and as the 780g sucks in comparison to your 3850, disable it, above post will give some experience with that chip.

You are throwing out loads of D3D errors, so if you used MP1.0RC2 installer, then that makes sure all the prerequisites are in place for MP to run.

Thanks for your reply..I checked the bios as u said about the crossfire option and find a surround view option thats in auto mode..I disabled it then try to open MP again but no luck again..It must be hardware problem i suppose cause i did try with vista,vista sp1 and xp sp3..maybe this board M3A78-EM is the problem as you say..

Here is something for you to try, change the ram if you have another stick to try. "2gb Ocz 800mhz" i had alot of issues with that ram change it and see what it does. i bet it works fine after that

This is odd..I try to install media portal to my other pc such as q6600-asus p5k-e-4gb ocz 1066 reaper-7800gt...and i got the same errors...I am doing something wrong or maybe OCZ fail?

...problem is in me..i try to install 2 different pc at work and i failed again..double check the wiki requirements page and even (this is the first time i read the installation manual for an application)read the installation manual...Something is wrong..Maybe user account control thing..when i install vista for the first time i go into the msconfig and disable uac..I feel like i'm a noob
