    Hi Seb
I don't know if you are still interested but I'm getting MP crashes on resume from sleep on a fairly regular basis. I can do multiple sleep/resumes without ever reproducing the problem but when I wake up the HTPC after an overnight sleep, MP crashes nearly every time.:( The attached logs show a typical example when I first woke it up arround 11:20 this morning. Yesterday I cleaned up/deleted a number of no longer used programs and drivers in the hope of a fix, but it does not appear to have helped.

    I'm interested! :)
[edit: ...and from the log files, I have some idea of what the problem may be.]
If you'd like my help you'll need to switch to MP 1.16 PR - I'm not able to build patches for "1.15.0-869-g6bb8ef3-MP1-4781V4_madVR_based_master".

No problem, do I just upgrade/install 1.16pr then again with v280 from the 1st post???

First patch is attached. This one contains logging to identify/confirm the source of the crash.

    Install instructions:
    1. Close MP.
    2. Open Windows File Explorer.
    3. Navigate to your MP install folder (default c:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal).
    4. Make a backup of MediaPortal.exe, Core.dll and plugins\process\PowerSchedulerClientPlugin.dll.
    5. Download and extract the attached files to replace the default ones.
    6. Open MP Configuration.
    7. Navigate to the "general" section.
    8. Ensure "log verbosity" is set to "debug".
    9. Click OK to save and close.
Now we just have to wait for the next crash. After the crash, please use the Watchdog with option 3 ("export...") to collect log files as you've been doing.

    Thanks in advance. :)

[edit: Added Core.dll to the patch.]

Oh! Windows crashed, I think, on resume from sleep this morning ("no signal" on screen till reboot started, but disk activity acording to leds.). Not the first time for this either though much rarer than the MP crash on resume from sleep. Logs attached.
Also had a Windows 10 BSOD yesterday afternoon, shortly after installing this version of 1.16pr on stopping TV playing, info on screen mentioned driver and my TBS6285:unsure:, but disapeared before I could get the details. Also got an MP crash yesterday evening on stopping a video in Online Videos:(
Starting to look flakey, all help much appreciated.;)

    Ahhhh, joe! :)
    The problem is this:
    [2017-01-30 19:01:03,866] [Log ] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - PluginManager: Begin Loading '\process\oldPowerSchedulerClientPlugin.dll'
    [2017-01-30 19:01:03,881] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - PluginManager: Plugin: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\process\oldPowerSchedulerClientPlugin.dll' / Version: 1.15.100.0
    [2017-01-30 19:01:03,881] [Log ] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - PluginManager: End loading '\process\oldPowerSchedulerClientPlugin.dll' (15.6156 ms running time)
    [2017-01-30 19:01:03,897] [Log ] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - PluginManager: Begin Loading '\process\PowerSchedulerClientPlugin.dll'
    [2017-01-30 19:01:03,897] [Log ] [MPMain ] [INFO ] - PluginManager: Plugin: 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Team MediaPortal\MediaPortal\Plugins\process\PowerSchedulerClientPlugin.dll' / Version: 1.15.100.0
    [2017-01-30 19:01:03,897] [Log ] [MPMain ] [DEBUG] - PluginManager: End loading '\process\PowerSchedulerClientPlugin.dll' (0 ms running time)

In other words: MP loaded and ran two copies of the PS plugin because you left your backup (oldPowerSchedulerClientPlugin.dll) in the original folder. This was the cause of the problems. The backup needs to be moved to another folder. ;)
