No clue, but maybe create a new installer with recent fix can help too.

    THX.

I will install the build tonight with basic options, meaning: no startup/resume delay, volume master, and stop playback on renderer removal -> yes

Ok new test build is installed.

    settings:
    • I decided to set delay to 8s - because it did not matter before. If it is stable I will reduce it to 0s.
    • volume master
    • and stop playback on renderer removal -> yes

Ok after I had to restart the HTPC I now had a STB crash again - so at least it less frequent.
From the logs it clearly crashed when entering standby, there is no log info from waking up (18:34).

    I have now changed:
and stop playback on renderer removal -> to "no"

When did the system to into standby?
    The logs show:
    [2014-04-09 18:17:13,781] [Log ] [PowerBroadcast Thread] [INFO ] - Main: OnSuspend - Done

    Your Application_eventlog shows a Windows Defrag error @ 18:13:
Das Volume Wiederherstellung" wurde aufgrund eines Fehlers nicht optimiert: Falscher Parameter. (0x80070057)"
    Maybe this helps:

Time it went into standby was:
[2014-04-09 18:17:16,832] (last message from TV server log) - that was the time I turned the PC off - couple of seconds earlier though

    Resume was:
    [2014-04-09 18:32:34,499]

Mhh shouldn't matter. Its a random Windows 8.1 error with SSD drives. I will keep looking for a fix though - can be fixed by excluding drive from optimization. I will exclude it.

    Hi

This time I got a Direct3d error in the log.[DOUBLEPOST=1397220751][/DOUBLEPOST]Ok from a different thread I got this tip:

    Zitat von alister: ↑

I had the same problem and have FIXED it

    The FIX:

Turn OFF mediaportal always on top

Mhh might be a solution if it happens again but I like the "always on top" function just in case anything from windows pops up.
