    Two problems, so:

    1. Freeze
    2. Crash with dialog ("Mediaportal had crashed") - screenshot?

You have to focus on one problem at a time and tell me when it happens? "sometimes" is not enough, it has to be something like "during import", "when i press X", "when i open X", exact sequence to initiate the crash :)

Logs. Logs should be clean with one problem reproduced only and when posting them, note the EXACT time of error (hour:min:seconds if possible).

Use this DLL to reproduce problems and gather logs. Don't forget to put that setting back so you can reproduce first problem. About DB, it's not needed yet. If we're lucky it won't be even needed ;)

I can confirm both issues. I just had another crash, logs attached (using your dll)

Thanks, logs really helped to confirm my theory ;) Inker (original author of hierarchy cache) has been kind enough to help with this so here is a new DLL to test. Please test if it fixes the error during next couple of days :)
