MP hangs going between HD and SD channels (1 Viewer)

not sure if I should have dredged this thread or started a new one. apologies if it's the latter (or there's another thread I should have posted in?)

a while ago, I upgraded my MP to a dual core intel, more ram and win7.. working sweet on mp1.23 .. upgraded to 1.3 and TV3 is smashing the processor again. :-(
the other change I've made is to add serviio so that may be the issue, but it's certainly the mediaportal process that is caning the CPU.

logs and CPU pic attached... any ideas? go back to 1.23 for a test?

Are you saying there is high CPU load when actually playing HDTV, or all the time when TV service is running ?

If it's just when playing, check the LAV video decoder settings, and make sure 'DXVA2 Native' is selected in the 'Hardware Acceleration' section (see attached image).

dood, it appears that you may just be a fricking genius... thanks muchly.. currently sitting round 30%cpu after making that change.. will monitor a while longer but such a dramatic improvement suggests you've nailed it for me.. thank again
